Guest room color help

We're finally painting our guest room from the builder's white. We photoshopped a few colors before doing any samples and had thought BM Baby Turtle would work well, but now that it is on part of the wall it looks a bit too muddy/gloomy in such an enclosed space. Trying to decide whether to pick up a sample of BM Flowering Herbs or go in another direction entirely. Any ideas? Suggestions of any sort are welcomed. The furniture is a dark brown/espresso (old, but not likely to be replaced as soon as I'd like), and the bedding is a toile-like print of red on white, with dark red euro shams. The print in the picture is no longer there, though it may be used elsewhere in the room.

The room is south-facing, all trim is oak, and the hallway outside the room is white. It will eventually be painted, but no idea what yet. The adjacent master bedroom will likely end up a shade of soft blue or green.

Thanks!
