I would like to replace the non-working lights in our 24x40 L shaped inground vinyl liner pool. The lights that were in the pool at the time of construction were some of the original Sun-lites. Interested in replacing with some of the new LED lights but just not sure what to buy. The niches which seem pretty big, may not have been the niches that came with the sun-lites as they seem kind of large and as I recall, the sun-lites came out about the time our pool was under construction and the pool builder used a large stainless plate to adapt them. Sure could use some guidance to determine if any of the LEDs would fit the niches...haven't been able to find any info on the requirements for them. Thanks much! Don

We are having our pool re-plastered and upgrading from the previous plaster to pebblesheen. We initially were looking at pebbletec and when we opted for sheen instead it was the same cost, no upgrade. I'm thinking you might want to check with a different company. There should not be an upsale cost between tec and sheen unless you are including additives that were not present in the tec.

Michelle 16 - no prob! We pulled the plug today and decided on the Black Pearl!!! Your comments helped us to finally decide - thanks! would still love to see picts thought whenever! We went w/ a taupe/beige coping and a beige-ish tile w/ a dark brown/shimmery trim around each 6x6 piece. Have a new discussion going and will keep adding pictures. Think it's called New pool - picts/progress. We are going into week 4 of digging :( lots of rock and not enough room for a back hoe to fit. Hopefully we'll have a pool in time for a Labor Day party!! I can't speak to gemstone jewel abalone, but Krystalkrete and Sunstone are CLI products (www.clindustries.com). Exposed aggregate finishes from Orlando, FL. Beadcrete is a glass-type aggregate (www.beadcrete.com). Both a good choice, however, Beadcrete will "shimmer" more due to the glass. The warranty on the CLI pebble should be better (lifetime vs. 7 years). Personal preference. Your PB is saying Krystalkrete or Sunstone because that is the vendor that they prefer, due to using them repeatedly. As for Hayward vs. Polaris, Polaris is mostly a robot pool cleaner manufacturer. Hayward has all of the pumps, filters, etc. to make you pool work. There are basically 3 choices for pool equipment companies; Hayward, Pentair, and Jandy. I prefer Pentair, but all are good.
