Where to buy bulk double wall sheets
Comments (4)Some good terms to use when searching (here in the archives, or on Google for suppliers) are polycarbonate, or twinwall polycarbonate. It comes in various weights. Mine came in pre-cut panels with my kit GH, and is only 4mm thick (the thinnest you'll find sold.) Heavier weights will retain more heat, but cost more. Here is a pic of the end of a 4mm thick polycarbonate panel, to help you judge thickness. I have found it to be pretty tough and very lightweight. It's somewhat flexible (not brittle.) I haven't built from scratch like you are, and my polycarbonate panels attach with spring clips (Harbor Freight greenhouse.) However, we also put self-drilling screws (with rubber-faced washers) through it, into the aluminum frame, with no problem....See MoreWhere can I buy sheets for a thin mattress?
Comments (6)You can get stretchy things that go under the mattress and clamp on to the sheets to hold them on at places like BB&B. I've used them in my camper. :) You could also get an inexpensive but thick memory foam topper and pretend you have a pillowtop....See MoreLooking for single sheet calendar art in a 5x7 format
Comments (16)Lynn, it wouldn't have crossed my mind either, but 4 years ago when I received an Annie/Catherine calendar for Christmas that started the tradition. I've been buying her calendars ever since, but this year wanted something different. Oakley, I don't mind sharing photos when it pertains to something particular, but I'm not interested in sharing more. The windowsill has small clear vases filled with fresh cut rosemary and I've woven a string of Mardi Gras lights through the branches. Here is a link that might be useful: annie/catherine...See MoreThose With Single Bowl Sinks - Where Do You Put Your Dishcloth?
Comments (31)OK - am I the only one that doesn't use a dish cloth? I use a towel to dry that hangs on the lower cabinet. But I use a handled sponge that's filled with the dish soap. I hate using sponges and cloths for some reason. Maybe that's just me. I like to use a handle. But I got these nice stainless slim baskets with suction cups that attach to the sides of the sink. I have two round ones for my two dish brushes (the bristled and the sponge one) and a flat one for the other miscellaneous stuff. The all stick to the front left portion of the sink so they're out of the way....See Moresandy_in_ia
