I have the Moen Level in my kit. It's a great little faucet, especially for the price. The only thing I don't like about it is it doesn't "remember" the spray vs. stream setting after you turn it off.

I mounted mine with the lever on the front (b/c I'm wacky like that). This way it still stays centered (yes, that's the crazy), is easy to reach with one hand, and shouldn't confuse guests too much. They still go left for hot, right for cold.

I've never had a problem with Moens. During this process, I realized that's what I put in my first kitchen remodel. It was a great faucet. My mom has a Moen in her kitchen and loves it. Now, Kohler on the other hand.....don't get me started. ugh. :(

1. I'm afraid the handle is "small" for when you want to turn it on with your wrist 'cause you're covered with raw chicken or some such. Is that a problem?

2. Even more so, with the handle in front are you able to turn it on easily with your wrist?

3. I'm not concerned that it doesn't "remember" to stay in spray mode. Forgetting is actually preferred by me -- but how is the sprayer feel in your fist -- is it big enough? Most the competition seems to be so daintily proportioned that it looks like a pain to hold. This one is in the lead specifically because it's seeming heft.

Oh, and for others, here are 2 more I found also in the running, a Danze (which is a brand I've never heard of) and a Blanco -- all very similar in style:

I don't have that faucet, but I've had Moen faucets in previous homes and never had any problem with them. I think that Lever faucet looks great! I wouldn't worry about having the right "label" faucet. Judy's kitchen has high end finishes and the Moen fits in beautifully.

Danze is another mid-tier line. My potfiller, powder room, and guest suite bathroom faucets are all Danze. They obviously don't get as much traffic as our primary faucets, but no complaints on them, either.

Yes, the way I have it mounted does make it a bit more difficult to turn it on with your wrist, but I'm able to do it. Not easily, but doable. The lever has a bit of resistance to it which is the only thing that adds difficulty. You could always add a Tapmaster. :)

The size of the sprayer feels good to me, but I'm a female with fairly small hands. I also considered this Price Pfister, but decided it was too big.

I've heard good things about both of those other brands.

Oh, and when I said "is easy to reach with one hand" what I meant was it's easy to reach with EITHER hand.
