No, EarthlyDelights, you're not mistaken. It used to be that on elimination night, there would be one musical guest and that would be it. Then they added the Macy's dance thing, and now they've added a second musical act. AND, sometimes one of the musical guests gets to do more than one song! It's getting out of hand, IMHO. I am in agreement with everyone who said that it was Steve-O's time to go; and I also agree that Lawrence Taylor needs to go next. I was not, however, at all impressed with Lil' Kim this week. The routine was more "show" than dance, and Derek Hough was doing 99% of the dancing. Lil' Kim really didn't dance much at all in that routine and I was quite surprised that Carrie Ann and Bruno gave her standing ovations

I've only been up an hour or so, and saw this thread and couldn't believe so many had already planned dinner. You'all got me. DH is gone for some days, so easy-peasy meals on the agenda here. Boca Burger last night.... most likely a salad and B-Burger again tonight. Beautiful Central Coast Strawberries for snack/desert. Does that make me first today????? I'm keeping my eye on the white flowers all over the Strawberry bed here!

Yippee, Jake is gone. I was surprised this "man" cried on national TV for getting the boot and not being on anymore. Did he really think he'd win??? He so much wants to get noticed in the 'biz'. When asked today on GMA about his future, he stated, you never know what doors will open by being on DWTS (not verbatim). Hummm, that says alot. These so-called reality people will do anything to be in the limelight. Go back to flying planes, Jake. You're 15 minutes is up.

If they were going to bring back one of the former participants, wouldn't they have been back for last night's competition, since Misty May wasn't dancing? I suppose, due to lack of rehearsal time, they might not have been able to get someone back and prepared in time, though. Guess we'll find out tonight--if they aren't going to replace Misty with someone who has already been voted off, they'll have to allow all through, so as not to skew their schedule. And don't forget--if you want to catch the show tonight, check your listings--the debate is on and DWTS is going to be shown either before or after. In our market it will be on at 8 rather than the usual 9.
