Fiberglass pool with sun shelf?
Comments (4)How about something like the San Juan Pools' "Crystal Cove"? (Link below) It's roughly 12' x 18', and looks like it has the type of sun deck that you're looking for... not too big but not too small. We have the San Juan "Stardust" in our backyard. Hope this helps a little! Here is a link that might be useful: San Juan Fiberglass Pool - Crystal Cove Model...See MoreLaminar jets and thatched umbrella in baja shelf?
Comments (2)My builder put in 3 bubblers on our sunshelf for free. The water turned out to be too deep for them to do much without adding risers, but not really a big deal since we didn't pay extra for them. We have 2 umbrella sleeves on our sunshelf as well, but don't have a thatched umbrella so I can't offer any advice there....See Moresun shelf umbrella
Comments (6)We put the umbrella sleeve inside our sun shelf and have had no problems with it for three years....I would not recommend leaving the umbrella in the pool when your not using it. I did more sleeves in the deck as well....I would go outside with an umbrella when the sun was out when the pool was being built and would see where the umbrella sleeves would be needed. My wife thought I was crazy and OCD, but it was worth my time to have the sleeves in a "strategic location". I do remind my wife as much as possible when we are in the pool enjoying the shade from the umbrellas! Buy some sleeves from the pool supply store (much cheaper than the decking guys will charge) and be home when the deck is poured. It will save you money. I even did sleeves for my Tiki torches...Good Luck!...See MoreSun Shelf Umbrella
Comments (1)Hi Mike, If the sleeves are installed in a concrete deck, you should be okay. If you have a paver deck, it should have been installed with at least a 6" thick x 3' square pad....See Moreandrew9461
