I finally had a good day today

My friend & I went to the "Flea across Florida" today. We went through 3 towns. We were out most of the day and one place even sold hot dogs on the grill which were surprisingly very good. I got several things I was looking for, I don't think I even spent $10. It goes again Sat & Sunday. I won't go again until Sept. when they do it again.

It's nice to have a fun day for a change.

Still a little early for peppers up there isn't it Mike? I'll be planting tomatoes starting tomorrow. 45 tonight then finally the night temps will be above 50 here (according to local weather) for the next 10 days and hopefully until fall. I'll be so glad to get my counter tops and tables cleared off and some walking room in the house. I've been severely cramped here for over 2 months and to a lesser extent all winter. Will be nice to be able to do some extensive house cleaning and some organizing after just having a path to walk through all winter. I could easily be accused of being a hoarder right now. lol!

I couldn't believe it when I looked over the pics how many different ones there were...We have the bird feeders set right in front where you can view from 3 places... Abr, lol, thats a blueburd and it was windy chilly. Birds puff them self up to keep warm.. Photo2, Suet cake... Did anyone notice the sparrow going after the doves tail feathers? Mishevious, sparrow....I had to laugh... Thanks again for looking! juanital

Good for you Joann!! How nice to have a friend who enjoyed it with you. That would have been fun! I hope you can find a few other things this summer to enjoy like that.

That really does sound like lots of fun....Like Tobygirl..I haven't been to a decent flea market in years...So glad you enjoyed your time ....

It went from Live Oak to Tallahassee, with lots of nothing between, typical yard sale stuff. In town they had it in 3 parking lots, that was the more expensive items or dollar store type things.
I went back today (alone) since other places joined in. I got a pair of shoes, a small wooden table, a ziplock bag full of thread and some other small stuff. The table stand looked like junk and I itched all the way home (bugs/spiders) but it cleaned up real nice and looks worth something now. I did it the fast way with Old English Scratch cover. I may paint it one day but its fine for now.
