I finally had a good day today

My friend & I went to the "Flea across Florida" today. We went through 3 towns. We were out most of the day and one place even sold hot dogs on the grill which were surprisingly very good. I got several things I was looking for, I don't think I even spent $10. It goes again Sat & Sunday. I won't go again until Sept. when they do it again.

It's nice to have a fun day for a change.

Sorry you had a stinker of a day. I remember the day we went from having four cars to having one car in one day! Fortunately all due to breakdowns, not accidents, so you have to count your blessings. By the time I got a call that #3 had broken down, there was nothing left to do but laugh.

Good for you Joann!! How nice to have a friend who enjoyed it with you. That would have been fun! I hope you can find a few other things this summer to enjoy like that.

That really does sound like lots of fun....Like Tobygirl..I haven't been to a decent flea market in years...So glad you enjoyed your time ....

It went from Live Oak to Tallahassee, with lots of nothing between, typical yard sale stuff. In town they had it in 3 parking lots, that was the more expensive items or dollar store type things.
I went back today (alone) since other places joined in. I got a pair of shoes, a small wooden table, a ziplock bag full of thread and some other small stuff. The table stand looked like junk and I itched all the way home (bugs/spiders) but it cleaned up real nice and looks worth something now. I did it the fast way with Old English Scratch cover. I may paint it one day but its fine for now.
