To aid in identifying, I made a little diagram of the pot. I spent many hours last night looking at pictures to try to identify things myself. I confess I am too green to have any confidence, though. 5, 6, & 9 are identified. 1 may be a kind of Echeveria? Maybe a Tylecodon? 2 Sempervivum? 3 a type of Haworthia? 4 Aeonium? I do have more close-up pictures of the individual plants, if that would be of any help. And not to be pushy, but keep in mind that I'd love to get ideas on which members of my collection I can successfully grow together. If I can just run with what I think I like together visually, great. But I'm receptive to other concerns. It may take a while to get the whole collection up here. I have some plants that had labels, but I want to try to verify the labels first.

I agree with you Ellendi, when you borrow money, it should be paid back based on the agreement but a lot of lenders have changed the terms of those agreements and made it almost impossible for people to repay making the banks even richer. It's a vicious cycle. Some, not all but some of the scenarios we're seeing today involve a lot of good money conscious people, who had every intention of paying their debts and because of circumstances beyond their control, are now forced to make a choice between housing and feeding their family or paying debt. Which would any of us choose in those circumstances? I personally, feel the banks are responsible for a large part of what's going on economically and they should be willing to help those deserving of it by any means they can, but they're not. Instead they are calling loans due, forging foreclosure documents, making more risky transactions, raising rates on people, charging grossly exorbitant fees and the list goes on, so it's very hard to have much empathy, KWIM? BTW, when I say deserving of it, I mean those who are not spend alcoholics abusing a system. With a shortage of jobs and change in the working climate many qualified people can't find work in their own fields and are taking jobs at whatever pay then can get just to keep afloat. If you live in an area that isn't in decline or working in a field where you see a lot more of these scenarios on a daily basis, it's hard to relate but I do and let me tell you, good, hard working people are finding themselves in situations they never dreamed they'd be in and it happened quick. It's horrible and it's scary. In addition to the above, debt Collectors are obligated to follow certain procedures and will often times have no problem breaking the laws to collect because they're betting the person they're contacting isn't aware of their rights. I suspect that that is the case with the caller in the Dave Ramsey conversation.

I just posted this on someone else's thread but I wanted to say THANK YOU for helping me find my voice! And making progress! The granite guy came today and fixed the crack. You can't tell at all standing over it. I can see it when the sunlight is reflecting off of it, but also bc I was specifically looking for it. Anyone else would just see it as graining. Granite guy said it happened probably when the cabinet guy was hacking at the trim he had to remove bc it wasn't right. This I can live with. The cabinet guy showed up yesterday. The magnet he brought to fix door wasn't the right one. I started to show him which cabs had nails still sticking out and he said he'd check all of them. Then he said ok I'm done. I opened a cab and said the nails aren't finished, I thought you were going to finish them. He says,"Oh I didnt realize that you wanted me to do that." Really?Really? I guess he thought the splintered wood was fine? So then he says ok I'm done. I'm going to run to HD and get the magnet and be right back. Then I went to check his work. He missed cutting nails in 2 cab and didn't finish 3 others. Well...An 1 1/2 later he calls and says he got the battery but needed to go home and he'd come back tomorrow. I told him he missed more nails etc. And... he didn't come. But I do consider it a small victory he came at all. And lastly, I called the glass guy and said it was really driving me crazy everytime I look at it. He said he was going to call daltile to see if there was anything he could do, but if not, they would have to do it over bc it was their mistake. Yea! So I'll let everyone know how things turn out. I really don't expect to hear from cab guy. But, it's not the last he'll hear from me!

Thanks everyone for being as dismayed as I was. The thing that makes no sense still is how quick they left. I mean they didn't even wash out their cement mixer or their wheelbarrow. The PB said he'd be back on Monday with a trailer to pick up the other bags of diamond brite that I guess are out on the side of my yard hardening. Or maybe he's taking the mixer. I don't know. He told me he'd call his insurance man on Monday and the insurance would come out to look at it. He was happy we were taking pictures. I was trying to cheer myself up and asked him if they would at least put the light in the niche and get the wiring through the ground and that made him mad and he left. It's just surprising how the PB complains that it's costing him $30.00 in gas every time he comes to my house but yet they don't try to do everything possible when they're here. And they had tried to get the wire through the niche hole before they started the diamond brite by using a stick and nobody could see the stick outside of the pool so suddenly I'm thinking the conduit they attached to the niche before they shot the pool has sunk or something. So I didn't think it was an unreasonable request. When the PB arrived this morning the first thing he said to my husband was "I'm surprised you don't have the light hooked up" to which my husband replied "it's not my job". In answer to some of the questions: Bella-Orlando: Our pool is 12x24 and about 4.5 feet deep so yes, it's a small pool, but according to our PB today, that was $900.00 worth of materials ruined. I have no idea what his plan is, I've asked my husband get the PB to put in writing what they intend to do. I found out that I couldn't have filled the pool up anyway, since the light niche has an opening that leads somewhere out the pool, but might not be above waterline level. We're in Spring Hill, FL on the west coast. The PB sent my husband to get the plastic because gas is so expensive and because while he said he would pay for it, it was put on our debit card. I can assure you the PB is upset that he didn't get his final draw today, not because I was impacted. poolguynj: Thanks for the advice but I know that they're going to go over it. They're not going to remove it. They used stegmeyer (sp?) coping forms to make my pool coping. Something wasn't right with the mix. The pool builder tells me it's the best he can do. "You wanted the retro look, it looks retro". He didn't even know what the word retro meant until we met, and retro doesn't mean that it looks decayed and falling apart in two weeks. The funny thing is that when he popped over yesterday to drop off the mixer, he told my husband that because we're "strange" that he wanted us to pay him in cash. Fortunately my husband had to get on a phone call for work right after that statement was made :-0, I asked for clarification as to what made us strange. Seems that we are the only people that he has ever done any work for that actually point out problems like holes in the waterline tile grout, or coping that has cured for a week that dissolves when the garden hose water hits it. So he wanted cash because he was worried we might stop payment on the check.
