We got our inspiration from Summerwood website below and gave a drawing to our GC. Not as ambitious as your project, but we love the convenience of cabana. It's a bar, kitchenette, changing room. The pool and cabana are just about finished. Below is a picture of the completed TV wall with my 6 year old daughter for relative perspective. The landscaping was installed at the same time as the Blue Granite PebbleSheen. Lots of work in the yard on Friday but it makes everything look a lot better. Started filling up the pool on Saturday and it was still filling Monday night. The pumps are going now and hopefully it will not take long to get the right look of the water. The remaining items are the re-sodding of the backyard, sealing the deck and finish wiring of the cabana. It feels like we have run a marathon and can now see the finish line. Hi, Not sure what you have in mind exactly ... and if you are asking solely about the fire pit, but I'll take a swing... We are having one built right now by the Amnish in PA. I've attached the photo below of the basic design and I'll tell you our changes.... The whole structure is 12x24. We chose to have a 6' bar window and a single french door on the right side, then on the gazebo area, 12x12 we upgraded to screens that have a window called four track, which can close completely if you wanted to use it off season with a heater. In the non gazebo enclosed portion which is 12x12 also, we have a 6x5 room with a door off the right side, which we are using as the bathroom. (we figured to keep wet feet & traffic out of the kitchenette to put the door on the side) The L-shaped kitchenette will be big enough to have a fridge, cabinets, & electric stove, and then there will be a door leading to the gazebo/sitting area from inside as well... Oh & so we don't have to run sewer lines ($$$), we are installing an envirolet low water toilet...it is low maintenance and will be convenient for the season & keep wet feet outside .. So again, this all may be TMI... but perhaps I may have helped with something.... Oh and I love the firepit/place idea.. I think that depending on how much $$ you want to spend you can have a great outdoor fireplace area... Don't tell my husband.. but I have lot's of ideas! $$$ ! LOL

The dimensions are approx. 20 X 20, including the bathroom. A majority of the dimensions were decided for us, as we are adding on to the back of the house, and the foundation and topography determined much of what we could do. My plan is for it to be all enclosed with a sliding door to the outside, and a bar-type window (so we can put bar stools outside). The interior, again is mainly determined by the existing situation. In the end, we plan for it to have a full bath, a bar set up with some cooking/washing capabilities, and room for some furniture. I wish I could say I have it all planned out, but my husband is doing most of the work (saving big $$) and we are doing the pool first, with this prepped but we are not actually building it, now. I know it is unconventional to do it this way, but that is how we tend to work. He is the do-er, and we design together based on him telling me what needs to be where for logistical reasons and me telling him how I want it to look given the logistical constraints. :)
