I have a very old french provinical dresser in yellow and dark top. A find from a yard sale that I just feel in love with.

I found a mirror *large rectangular, to lean long ways on the dresser in the center. I keep items to a minimum. I have a small upholstered chair to the right and am looking for a very frenchy candle holder/sconce. I have a small yellow vase on the dresser, which I need to put a flower in!
On the left I have an artists print/framed leaning against the wall - its very small. And a couple little jewelry boxes.

I think a good sized painting on the wall over it would look lovely with a lamp at one end and maybe a round rattan low bowl ala Pier One a the other end. I have river rocks in soft tones in mine and a candle in the center that I light occasionally but it looks just as nice with out one.
I also love a container of sand (bought and cleaned) and putting 3 to 6 small cacti still in their tiny pots with the pots not visible and pushed down in the sand. Makes a lovely look and no care. Just some ideas.

I love a big round mirror over a long dresser, hung at eye view so it serves as a mirror. match the mirror with the hardware, or the wood. A couple of taller lamps on each end with a lower centerpiece always works.

These are old glass floats that had been my grandmother's. I didn't have enough of them to fill up a container, but remembered this candle.
