lisa... you didn't include pics but regardless; I'd suggest craigslist or ebay. Just don't let anyone into your home to see them when you're alone (sorry... once a Mom... always a Mom)

I think Craig's List might be your best bet; most of the buyers on EBAY will need to pay shipping which will drive down the price they're willing to pay. If the stools are still in mint condition, you could check the the store where you bought them and see if they'll take them back minus a re-stocking fee - The worst they can do is say no. Best wishes.

Ditto what chefkev says--try the store first if you have the receipt and not the boxes. Lowe's was great with a few things I had like that--and if not, do craigslist. Take great photos and definitely be sure two people will be home when showing the stools.

I agree that your chances of returning them for credit (or even a full refund) are good if you have the receipt.. even if you don't have the packaging, a lot of stores accept those kinds of returns.

Otherwise, I vote for Craig's List.

Wow! Target too them back! Thanks to you guys suggesting i give it a try. I thought i'd be stuck with them. Target was so easy going and great to deal with.
