The problem is caused by trapped moisture behind the paint film. Those areas must be scraped, dried, primed and repainted. Cedar must be primed with an extractive blocking primer. Cedar should be primed on the backside also. CoverStain is a good primer for cedar or redwood. Michael

Wow, that is a stumper then. I really have no other suggestions. Myself, I'd be leery of putting poly over it to hold it down, I'd be thinking the poly would lift up too, or crack and craze? Dunno. Had a similar experience recently. Freebie little lamp I got, perfect shape for a bedside but it was black and I wanted it cream. Did everything right and there was one tiny spot that the primer and paint just kept curling up and cracking off of and I just can not get it fixed. Guess you could always try the poly, if you can get the topcoat to cling long enough to apply it?

Behr is another one of those class action guys that never quit selling the same stuff,like trex. The good news is behr is really easy to get off,because it really dosent do anything, drift on over to the Ken's site www.restoreadeck.com his two part RAD system should get that junk off.....unless behr has changed its junk into something like cwf or silkkens, then you got problems that only md80 will take off. The reason I think obout this is your deck is peeling behr usually just turns into mud and washes right off not peel. John
