Outswing french door in this case? Looks to be the standard type deal where they flip the door. Are the hinges on the exterior? Any additional door or covering on that interior jamb surface? Could be a defect in the paint/handling of the door during finishing. Depends how they are finished. If they were laid down to paint, that might make sense. Most larger door companies paint them via a hanging conveyor type apparatus.
