She left this morning and our friend has already driven her around the Capitol and broght her to Arlington Cemetery. She rented a light weight wheelchair for the week for when they need it. Even though I had requested wheelchair service, we still had to ask for it at both airports. Everybody nice, especially since her ID expired in 2008! She hasn't been able to drive in years so no license. Who knew the ID would Expire? I know, we should have checked. TSA called a supervisor. He was nice and accepted credit cards, etc as proof. She does have a passport but didn't want to bring it! I should have listened to my inner voice. I printed out all the suggestions from here and gave them to her. Thank you all for your helpful suggestions. And best of all...I have a dog again for a week!
