We're having leftover chicken-pecan quiche with pumpkin bread and cream cheese. Cleaning out the frig!!

Sarris's for their regular Tuesday smoked sausage and kraut.

And my car on the way home, HAD to stop at Bruester's which has been closed for the winter, for a scoop in a cup of their chocolate lovers trash.

Man, those au gratin potatoes with gueyere were even better tonight. Fortunately, they're all gone now! The curried wings were so-so. The sauce was good and a I froze the half I didn't use to put over chicken and rice some night. Nita, send Bobby out for the vegetable. Beets would go good with your pork :-) I've been hungry for your rigatoni and sausage. That stuff is addicting! Glenda, such will power! I usually intend to eat one or two--well, you know how that goes sometimes.

Glenda: Miss Myra's is on the list for Pattie and me. Just have to have some of that chicken salad. Maybe the 3 of us could split a dessert. Jasdip: I think you have a lot more snow than we've had. Your dinner sounds good. I have it on my list to try the other chicken recipe soon. Sue: You even 'sound' tired. Soup, toast and Greek yogurt sounds good to me. Pam: Nothing wrong with a grilled cheese. My kids loved it teamed up with tomato soup. Ravencajun: Eggs and seafood in a salad.......that's my kind of salad. Old Fixer: Make mine medium rare. Pam, you should've come over. We still have enough left for another meal, but I froze it. Glenda posted a recipe this morning on the "I'll share my recipe" thread for Red Lobster shrimp quiche that sounded really good, so maybe next week we'll feel like shrimp again. Wish we'd had some of your corn. Bigack, I wanted spaghetti for tomorrow's dinner but Harry has opted for pork chops. I need some pasta!! Sue, did you find any great deals at the grocery today? I envy you--fresh radishes from the garden. Nothing better than that! Susanjf, nobody ever complains about good old hamburgers! I've about decided I don't really like baked beans that much. Jasdip, glad you took a little break--unless you made your own soup fresh today and baked the bread for the sandwiches ;-) Are you still having spring-like weather? Nod702, now why don't I ever think of fried rice on clean-out nights?? Great idea!!

We had jasdip's: Slow-Cooker Sesame Pork Roast 1 (4 pound) boneless pork shoulder roast, trimmed 2 cups water 1/2 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup sesame seeds, toasted 1/4 cup molasses 1/4 cup cider or white vinegar 4 green onions, sliced 2 teaspoons garlic powder 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper 3 tablespoons cornstarch 1/4 cup cold water Place roast in large resealable plastic bag or glass dish. In a bowl, combine the water, soy sauce, sesame seeds, molasses, vinegar, onions, garlic powder and cayenne. Pour half over the roast, marinate overnight. Reserve remaining marinade. Drain pork, discarding marinade. Place roast in a 5-qt. slow cooker; add the reserved marinade. Cover and cook on high for 1 hour. Reduce temperature to low; cook 8-9 hours longer or until meat is tender. Remove the roast and keep warm. In a saucepan, combine cornstarch and cold water until smooth; stir in cooking juices. Bring to a boil; boil and stir for 2 minutes. Serve with the roast. DH absolutely loved it! Can't wait to try it when I actually have all the proper ingredients! (i.e., molassas! LOL)

A chef salad. Right now I'm making a cup of hot cocoa - I've been cold all day. We might get an accumulation up to 1" or more of slushy snow overnight. :(

A number of weeks ago, you guys taught me how to make taco salad. You created a monster. I made that tonite again.

Finishing up the French spring soup. This time with ham and cheese sandwich. DH really loved it. When I got home from golf today the first thing he said was, "you can't have any of that soup tonight." There's a whole quart of it left over. I think that's enough for two people! He said he thought it was the best soup I've ever made. This is so shocking because he doen't even like asparagus.

Pizza Hut delivery. Meat lovers pizza and a salad. It was disgusting. DS worked there in high school and we enjoyed it every once in a while. Really gone down hill.
