This was fun & I never (in my wildest dreams) would have decorated a pedestal cake plate (til coming over here)...so I had fun with it & appreciate your comments. Good Morning! Hmmmm, what did I do for Emily? We had a birthstone ring made for her and hid it in an egg. I bought her a multi-strand bead bracelet from World Market and a pair of earrings and did the same. We also stuffed a few eggs with money, which you all suggested, as well. Teens ALWAYS appreciate cash ;^D Thanks again for your great suggestions. The eggs and small pieces of jewelry were very easy to bring along in my carry-on bag. We hid them on our private patio there, so we didn't have to worry about someone else finding them :~0 She LOVED it . . . and her gifts! Anyhoo, here's a pic that I took out there: As for our time with our son, that was a bit sad for us. He'd put in for a weekend pass, and being at the top of his class, was assured he'd get it. But, his commanding officer went away for the holiday and left a new asst. in charge, who turned out to be a real you-know-what. For no reason, he decided the entire company had to stay on post, despite all the families, like us, who'd flown or driven in to see their soldiers for Easter. He did grudgingly allow DS a day pass to the small town next to the post on Saturday so that we could take him out to lunch and dinner there. So, instead of DS spending a relaxing weekend with us at the resort, we had to drive down to the post ~ 90 minutes each way~ every day but Friday to see him there. As a result, we didn't get to use the pools as much as we'd hoped or explore Tucson. Instead, I'm now (unfortunately) VERY familiar with it's highways! To counteract all that driving and get some exercise, we got up early every morning and walked the grounds, worked out in the exercise rooms or played tennis or golf (DH). But, the good news is that we did get to spend some time with DS most every day, albeit on post. On the bright side, La Paloma had a wonderful Easter Morning brunch that we went to and then we had them make us up a yummy gourmet picnic lunch to take down for a picnic with DS and his good buddy after.

Marlene the large bunnies on the buffet are a couple I picked up while out ys. I didn't have many before coming to Holidays. Now I don't pass them up! Karen, I knew you had something to do with Jas signing my book, "The Energizer Bunny". His book sits in our LR and I tell all what an amazing, inspiring guy he is! Love the part he wrote "Never Give UP" too. There is times that I to think I should open a store instead of donating so much.haha However, I would share with anyone who wants to come visit! Creek, decorating the outside was pretty easy. Alot of the eggs have wires so all I did was hang them up! So quick compared to tying the string ones. I'm thinkingif I go shopping after Easter, I will pick up more for next year. I know I have more out in the shed tho.LOL I will always Treasure my book "Burning Shield" signed by Jas. Nana, not a clue how many Bunnies I have! Looking forward to seeing your new one that hopped in this year! Always wonderful to know the decor brightens someones day. Did you see this Jelly Bean tree someone decorated? I Love It! So simple and just darling I think. Thanks so much ladies for all the Sweet comments. OK, big SCORE on the metal branches w/little bird tealights! I am coveting (big time)! And, of course, coming from a chick like you, those "fuzzies" are fantastic little critters in your nest vignettes! HOW CUTE! Love those purple plates you used on that metal plate stand!...& the purple vase of b'day flowers...GORGEOUS! I really like those pale yellow birds on the left side of your bay window under that potted branched tree w/lovely eggs...very pretty. Your family room bookshelf is very lovely w/all the bunny decor & those 2 "hoppin' bunnies" on the mantle are sweet! Like your new wicker eggs in the cloches in Bath, too & very classy BOP pic, ohhhhh my! OMgosh, PM, everything is just beautiful & you are READY for Easter (4 weeks away yet ...so you're set!) & SPRING...bring it on! Love your decor! Now just sit back & enjoy!
