Karen, your display looks so pretty--the tree reminds me of those feather trees--it looks great for Easter with your pretty pastel ornaments on it. I just love Stoney. Karen, glad you keep telling us where you find these things, I haven't been in a CVS pharm. in a while, never would have thought to check there for easter decor. Our walgreens & Osco have cute things too, need to hit them.

I live in a small town, we just got a Jewel/Osco last year, before that had NO grocery store at all. We had to drive 10 miles one way or 12 miles the other way to a grocery store, but our town is growing with about 12 new subdivisions & now we have a Walgreens & Jewel/Osco.

Karen, Your front porch is just perfect with your Easter decorations. And I just love, love, love your white Easter Tree on your metal plant stand. And I'll never seen the little floral eggs either. And your bunny plaque is very attractive.

Yachter, Karen had me running to our Walgreens the other night to look for the little bunnies she got at hers. They didn't have them, but they did have the egg lights on sale which of course I had to buy. CVS is close so I'll be checking them out later today also. Ours usually has some cute decos for all of the holidays also.

Great things! I love the tree, the plaque, just everything. Yes, you are right the whippet would look cute with a bow! Mosaicing the eggs would be great, on one of the Blogs I visit a person makes mosaic cupcakes they are so pretty so I am sure the eggs would be great in a mosaic too.

purplemoon, very nice job on decorating your porch. Everyone sure has lots of nice bunnies, I need to look harder I think! You mentioned you bought a bow maker, gosh, I could have sent you mine! Bought it four or five yrs. ago and maybe used it twice...I usually just buy the bows- much easier! lol

For example query in "tablesettings" lots will come up, or query in "cupcakes" or "pink" and on and on, its really cool and people can leave comments on the pic (if you make them public) I am just figuring it out how to do (I am kind of computer dumb) LOL But, yes, it will put you on the computer more LOLOLOL Gosh the blogs alone on the net is enough to keep one busy 24/7!!!

Isn't it fun though? What in the world did I do before I discovered all this fun stuff on the Internet? LOL

I'm enjoying the blogs because those ladies are sharing their personal thoughts and the items that make them happy. Some do wonderful photography and beautiful vignettes too.

RE: Posting a Live Link. If I'm correct on posting a link to something - all you have to do is put your cursor in the "web brower line" above (the long white rectangular box) and click on it to "highlight" it. Next go to the top menu bar and click on "Edit" - arrow down to "Copy" - come back to the Message Box (in these forums) or an email and put your cursor where you want the "link" to appear. Go back to the top menu and again click on "Edit" - arrow down and hit the "Paste" button. The link will be copied to where you put your cursor.

I hope this is what you're looking for, if not, I feel like a real dummy here!

Minnie, my front porch is long and narrow. Livingroom window in middle and the front door is at far right in this pix, hiding behind big bush. You can see the little plant shelf I decorate for seasons under mail box just to rgt of window. Took this photo last Fall, which is why the Scarecrow at the other end of it .

Patty, its so funny to see myself into this decor mode. I never ever decorated for anything but Fall and Xmas. But this year and those stacked cake plates sure did a number on me. LOL. I recently referred to Judith as a Life Changing Event. She certainly is in MY life.

and Judith, my previous house of 20 yrs had no porches, so I am really loving the fact this one has the little front porch and a nice back porch.
