There are a couple of DS's guitars here.

2 flutes--one 'real' one, and one is a glass flute with beautiful flowers painted on it--it works and has a pretty tone but it's not in the key a regular flute is, and I'm not very good at transposing

Yep, I have a violin, a drum, and one of those plastic recorders that they teach you to play in elementary school. I would love to have many more instruments. I love them.

We have a digital piano, a kid's toy flute and a recorder from Devin's first grade music class.

We used to have a real piano, now I have a really cool keyboard, grandaughter has a small pink grand piano:)

Just my DH. He whistles songs all of the time. Makes the dogs tilt their heads funny at him.
I love to hear him whistle, it is soothing to me, but as time goes on, and we age, I may have to find a spare sock to stuff in his whistler.....just thinkin ahead......

We have an upright piano - very old. Neither of us play, but our son took lessons for a couple of years, until he pointed out "Mom, I have no talent for this, and I hate it!" He was about 9. He was also right - he had zero talent for the piano.

DH has a 5-string banjo, and learned to play a bit. He started at 64, and got in a few years of enjoyment before the arthritis kicked in seriously.

He also has a harmonica, and he's pretty good with that.

Just DH's saxophone (did I spell that correctly? It looks funny!)

Several guitars, both electric and acoustic (DSand DH both play) and a gorgeous grand piano that is a dust collector. It looks really nice in an alcove full of windows facing the lake, but now that the kids are gone neither of us play it. That is one of my goals--I would love to learn to play it.

We have a piano. I've played for years, and I'm teaching Chloe to play.

I have the same musical instrument that trinitytx does. That's how I locate him in WalMart when he's wandered away to look for something. LOL

A fellow in my building whistles all the time. I hear him in the hall, in the laundry room, outside; wherever he is, he's whistling.

Hubby plays drums so there's a full kit with extra snares in the spare bedroom. Not set up; in cases.

3 Guitars...hubster and DS play...one keyboard...I play...a Colonial Williamsburg Fife which hubster used to be in and marched for the 50th anniversary a couple of years ago...I'd love a real piano...

Violin, guitar, and piano. When we were growing up, the first sounds we heard in the morning was my daddy playing the fiddle. Last thing at night was him playing either the fiddle or the piano. After we were grown he bought an organ and when we would go in the house he would be playing the organ. I play the piano, and little guitar, I am left handed and instead of restringing for a left hand I play right handed.

Piano, electric guitar, keyboard, sring or two, and a slew of recorders from both boys playing at school.
Funnily enough, no man in our house is capable of whistling...

I have my mother's piano that I learned on..both the girls tried to learn on. It doesn't get played much anymore. We also have my MIL's Violin-Uke that she received when she was a teenager...in the 1920's. I am sure that there are still at least one recorder of the girls' in one of the chests.

My father whistled so beautifully. If I hear someone whistle while shopping it will always put a smile on my face and I go to find that person....just to listen. Dad's been gone since '92...sure miss the whistling. :(

Let's see, two clarinets. Both were my Dad's but I played one of them for years. And then I think we are down to two guitars now. I would dearly love to have a piano someday.

We have a hammered dulcimer, boudrhan (Irish Drum), two harmonicas, a penny whistle, and a simple keyboard. Neither one of us can play these instruments. A long time past, I did play a little on the harmonica, and peck out simple tunes on the keyboard, but can not handle the whistle (never learned the fingering - takes many hours of practice - and great breath control. The whistle covers two octaves, and a note can pop from one octave to the other by the stength of how hard it is blown. Blow hard and you get the next higher octave.)

My husband is a retired HS music teacher (band).

He now gives music lessons in people's homes and presently plays in a (one-time) famous oldies band.

He has a Baldwin piano, a Casio electronic piano, a CX3 organ, 2 flutes, 2 alto sax, 2 tenor sax, 1 soprano sax, 1 baritone sax.

Son has a trombone,guitar and drums.Plays the trombone in the band at school.Has taken guitr lessons and currently takes drum lessons.He loves music.

We have DH, DS, and myself. DH has his fathers violin, I have an autoharp. Neither of us have the time to learn to play.
DS has 2 acoustic and 7or 8 electric guitars, 2 large keyboards, a trumpet, a sax, drum set, with extra pieces,a clarinet,and just bought an upright compact (thank God!) piano at an auction, many amps, mixers, mics,effect pedals, etc....wonder why music goes through my head every waking hour?
He will go to college in the fall for- you guessed it- music. He wants to eventually be a music producer. He writes music and plays and records many diffenent instrumental tracks now and mixes them on his computer. He is playing this summer with a local blues band nearly every weekend, and if that or a sweet girl doesn't get in the way, I think he will do an awesome job!
I will miss him and his music when he goes to school, but I hope he takes some of this stuff with him!

I think they have finally be claimed by the kids for their apartments. 3 or more guitars, synthesizer keyboard and stand, and a violin.

If so, we have two...

A guitar, a violin and several grade school recorders.

Three harps, a keyboard, a trumpet, a French horn, a couple of miscellaneous horns, two guitars, a bugle, a harmonica, pan pipes, a zither, a Q-chord, three recorders, a xylophone sort of thing, and a few kazoos.

I play them all, with varying degrees of expertise.

DH and I are both singers. Or at least we were years ago. Because of that, we have three guitars in the house. I also have a clarinet left over from my high school days and a tambourine.

ummmmm about 25 +/- one or two :^) and yes, I CAN play all of them except DH's guitar, but I only practise regularly on two or three....

1 piano, 3 guitars, 1 keyboard, 1 harmonica, and 1 violin. My kids are all very talented at these things, I had to teach myself the piano and even taking one year (almost) of lessons I'm still not very good at it lol. They must take after their Dad...he taught them all the guitar, and they figured out the rest on their own. ;o)
