I do have the load calculation on-hand. It was designed around: Summer: 72F Indoor / 95F Outdoor Winter: 68F Indoor / 8F Outdoor RH%: 30 Grains The Heat Pump model is: 25HNH542A003 The Air Handler model is: FV4CNF005T00 Technically the Manual J math came out to 3.69 tons. They recommended dropping to 3.5 tons vs going oversized with 4 tons. The quote is for a 20 KW strip model: WKFCEH3301C20 The thermostat in the quote is "TP-PHP". It looks like that's the "Edge" you're referring to? The quote also includes a new drip pan (30x60), 30AMP circuit panel addition, and new concrete Condenser pads for the Heat Pump. The current supply is capable of 1500 CFM, but the current two return are only capable of 1200 CFM. The plan is to either enlarge one of the two current returns or add an additional third return to bring the return CFM up to 1500 CFM. Let me know if you need any more info. :)

Perhaps the most important line item of quote, (the labor warranty) I do not see. I encouage you as consumer to strongly consider new system reliability along with system efficiency when selecting. Trane equipment includes parts warranty only, not labor warranty. Trane labor warranty is available at additional cost. Also, I encourage you to read and make very sure you understand the small print of labor warranty terms. Don't assume, unless stated, that the labor warranty is comprehensive. Labor warranties sometimes include the labor cost of replacing a component but exclude the cost of freon, the cost of a truck roll for a service call, etc. I emphasize labor warranty because the price to consumer of labor to replace a failed HVAC component can easily dwarf the price of the failed component. I speak of this from limited experience. As consumer, I researched 3 years ago, for replacement HVAC system. I read this msg board extensively and chose to have installed 2 Trane XR13 systems. I chose "simplier systems" in favor of reliability banking heavily on Trane quality & reliability reputation. Less than 3 years after installation one system experienced evap. Coil failure (i.e. leak) and while coil part covered by warranty, labor to install is not warranty covered and cost me a few dollars less than $1,200. I wrote on this msg. board critically of Trane reliability and of the pain I felt from the expense of relacing a Finally, other msg. boards are available providing additional insight into Trane (and competitor's hardware) customer satisfaction regarding reliability. Educate yourself to increase the probability of equipment and installation that will satisfy your needs for performance & reliability.

It sounds like you are a bit of a granite newbie. (Forgive me if I'm wrong. I didn't know anything until this site!) I want to make sure that you've seen the slab. With a stone with that much movement, etc (well really any stone, but IMO some more than others) there is going to be a lot of variability. Also, I found that some things I loved in smaller samples, I didn't take love as counters. If you like the slab, bring the sample into your home. Make sure you like it there. And then abuse it. If you search, you'll see lots of tests people perform. I'm a believer in spending more to get a granite you love. I started with the level 1 granites, and ended up with Bross Blue Leathered at $65/sq ft. installed. I spend a ton of time looking at it (and if I'm honest, petting it Lol). And I love that I don't see my granite wherever I go. Silly, but it matters to me. I had a free sink on my old kitchen. It made me think stainless sinks were awful. It was so loud. I got a kraus sink for my remodel. (I liked the look of stainless for me kitchen.). It is REMARKABLY quieter. I did get the fabricator to reduce my cost by $200 for foregoing the sink. But even if I hadn't, the sink was a small part of the overall budget, and I got exactly what I wanted.

I would ask how much for a pull out trash cabinet without the servo drive. The servo-drive itself costs something like $300. The only thing that’s a bit tricky about installing it is getting the holes drilled in the bottom where you install the unit, but it comes with a template to do that.
