Are These Trash or Treasure?

My mother has been going through her things and gave me a couple boxes of junk. Inside I found this bundle of flowers. Normally I am not a silk flower fan, but these are at least 30 years, perhaps 40 years old, handmade from silk ribbon. The texture is so incredible.

(By the way, none of them are "fluffed" in the pictures, just straight from the box.)

I clipped off a couple and put them in some footed glasses, perhaps used bedside or sparing used on accent tables? If I did use them, I think they look best this way as they somehow lose their effect in a bundle. There was also a piece of a bridal bouquet, but I can't think of a practical use for it. The flowers in the bouquet are made from different ribbon and with another technique so they don't have the luminescence of the rest.

*Honestly* (Really!) are these trash or treasure?
