Small kitchen reno : Narrow range (Aga/viking)

OK, i think this is my last kitchen post...for now!

I am researching narrow ranges for a small kitchen renovation.

We were planning on going with a vulcan commercial until my husband remembered that at his work his vulcan would catch the nearby wood cabintry on fire. so my dream 24" commercial range for $1500 would need 20" of clearance and a brick firewall. not ideal for a tiny kitchen!

So, to my dismay I have now jumped into the world of viking companion vs aga companion.

they are both about the same price at $5000. so here are the points i am considering:

ovens: viking has one larger still oven. aga has two SMALL, one convection and one still

looks: viking is pretty but normal. aga has WOW effect with color choices and horizontal-opening doors

The AGA is NOT and "aga cooker" which is essentially kept hot at all times. it is the companion range which is like a "regular" range.

The other thing to mention is that we are downsizing into a cohousing community which has a community gourmet kitchen for anyone's use...so in the event i want to cook a huge turkey, i can do it in the community kitchen. This kitchen is truly for personal use and cooking for close friends.

If you have any experienc or opinions on these or other small scale ranges I would really appreciate any feedback!

thank you!
