Several people have expressed a preference for the darker silgranite just as a function of the material itself, not even its surroundings. You might want to try to eyeball em both in person if possible.

I have a similar decision to make. While DH thinks the sink looks plasticy and wants SS again, I want the Silgranit sink and like the tan color or the black but I'm not sure what cab hardware, faucet and granite I am using. I am also considering the white since I am getting painted white maple cabs but think that the black will show less dirt. I will follow this post . . good luck.

I have the black silgranit and love it. I have typhoon bordeaux granite that has a cream background with black, rust, green and gray in it and it looks great.

Have you thought about the metallic gray? I used it with my gray Carrara, and it works well. I almost hesitate to show this pic pre-plumbing as the coloring is off. The metallic is much grayer than this IRL.

I also thought the white silgranits in the showrooms looked plasticy and thought the black wasn't a rich color. Love the metallic though! I even used it in my walnut island for my prep sink.

I have blue pearl granite and the gray sink matched perfectly. I chose the white. To me, it depended on whether I wanted to showcase the sink or hide it. I wanted to showcase the sink so I chose white. I love it!
