Exterior pots too - Coleus to tie in red door?

Hello there, last year I painted my home and also painted my front door red ( BM Sundried Tomato).

I have a planter on my front step and two large black iron urn planters at each side of the garage. For the planter by the front door, I was going to put in the usual red geraniums, spikes and perhaps bacopa or lobelia (white).

For the large urns, I was thinking of perhaps Canna Lilles (the President) as the tall plant in the centre ("thrill"), a red coleus as the "fill", and perhaps lime green sweet potato vine as the "spill". I wanted some red there to tie it into the front door.

I am a newbie to gardening/plants and unsure if the urns would work or look good or be too crowded. Also perhaps size of leaves on potato vine and coleus might be too similar???? Thoughts on this container recipe or other ideas? I am totally open to any and all ideas on exterior "beautying" (both plant and non-plant), thank you! (Last pic, sidelights are not yet painted, it's all red now)
