need help finding a song

My DD is going to sing at church and wants to sing a song her friend sang in a school talent song.But she is not friends with the girl anymore and attempts to find out the name of song or singer have not worked.

I am trying to search lyrics databases but apparently not very good at it, because I haven't had any luck.

She thinks the name of the song is Angels and that it is a Christian song by a girl -I got hits on Amy Grant but the lyrics she sings me are not right. There is also a childrens song and its not the right one either.

The lyrics: (The chorus I think)

I know I'm young and still growing

? ? (Something about a smile ??)

I only get those two songs too. Perhaps your daugther just has the lyrics confused?

Maybe this would be uncomfortable for you, but why can't you call this girls mother and ask her if she remembers the name. Betcha she does.

which site is good to find words to songs?

did you do a search there or just when you went to the actual website? My WOT and site advisor did not show any problems there. I just checked it on google and it has all green there too. I wonder if possible a bad ad or something. I have used it off and on a few times with no issues. Of course as always if downloading from any site the downloads should be scanned well before opening. But since you found that I would have to say not for anyone else to try it for now at least, who knows, and thanks for the heads up and posting that. Yep DA I agree when you google some of those sites you get a LOT of red warnings from Wot. Here is a little more info on skreemr, there is even a firefox add on for it. Find MP3s with SkreemR It has to have some thing to do with a bad link or script I would imagine, I have seen so many legit sites that have had that stuff happen recently. Hopefully they will find out and get it cleaned up.

I hate when I forget names of things... there was a movie, back in the early 80's I think, where the girl was maybe a construction worker and she danced at night. There is a scene where she is in a chair (during her dance) and water is dumped on her. Very sexy. But the main thing is the song they play for that scene has a really driving beat. Can anyone provide the name, given my description of the movie? She had shoulder length (or maybe a bit longer) 80's style hair...

I don't think any of these are the right song.
I do feel better though because I have LOOKED and Looked for the correct words and couldn't find them either-I was starting to get a complex. LOL

The ex friend does not have a good home life -no Mom in the picture and the teen has kind of turned into a bad influence for DD so they have parted ways.

My DD did ask her about it Friday and she told her she "couldn't remember" what the name of the song was and didn't still have the CD.

Thanks all who have looked- I think I will go to the Christian music store this weekend and we will find something.

I used to sing in church and had the same problem you're having...knew a few of the words but not the name of the song! I asked an employee at a Christian bookstore that also carries the performance tapes, and she knew right away what I was looking for. Hopefully, you will be as fortunate as I was!

Too bad your daughters friend cannot remember the name of the song (that seems odd and selfish, but based on the home life you mentioned, it's probably not so unusual).
