Heads Up Ontarians-----Gas Prices

Gas prices are expected to go up 4.5 cents overnite.

That's a huge jump. It'll put us at $1.40/litre.

Thanks for the heads-up, pal.

There was a couple of cents increase just the other day, darn it!

Travelled to Toronto yesterday, about 5/8 full last night - so I guess I'd better fill up on the way home.

Came out today to a flat tire (there's a pump in the garage, left over from uncle's day - and landlord has one in his shop, but I have no key) - so glad that didn't happen yesterday, as I've used a substantial portion of my CAA calls ... and it's barely April. Car's getting sort of old and tired.

Better go out and check it - as I don't have a tire pump in the car.

Thanks, jasdip. I noticed that every week gas prices have been creeping up a few cents. Used to go up on Thurs. nights - now it seems Tues. nights (no doubt since I switched the dog's day out to Wed.). And I always end up having to pay the highest price because I can't get into the gas station without blocking the road. I pay the same at the full service station as my husband pays at the self-serve - so you know where I go.

Thanks Mike for the correction. What configuration change (if any) would you suggest for creating the growing light arrays with these sets? For the last several days I had visited 4 different Lowes stores only picking up 5 sets or so at a time. I've got about 37 boxes, so I can be creative.. of course some will actually be used on my Christmas trees too! :) If anyone needs the coupon, let me know. I'm not sure if you need to register on Slickdeals to get the coupon page someone assembled that has 4 of them on a single page for printing.

Wow! My BFF and I were just discussing this very range last night! She was telling me that she was about to purchase it and I kept telling her that she needed to come onto GW and do her homework first. And, in order to help her, I searched myself for more specifics about this range here but couldn't find any relevant threads. Now, not even 24 hours later, you posted this thread! Amazing! Of course, I emailed this thread to my friend immediately and she is delighted to hear this news of a potentially even bigger discount. Talk about giving back a little, Storklady. In doing that, you can claim instantaneous results! So, on behalf of my dear friend, she thanks you very much!

If you go to my online journal for this trip, you will find my maps. But, in case you miss the text.... Those are for planning purposes mostly... I am well known to go off route! http://www.crazyguyonabike.com/doc/swimmingwhilebikingoptions next scroll down to proposed route. You can also click on my name, and find all the online journals I ever published from my bike journeys. Also, there is a guest book link, near the top, where you can contact me. Please realize, if you put your email address in a message to me there, it shows to EVERYONE that is ever looking there. There is however a small box you can check, which will give only me your address. One last thing, if you click the home link on this website it takes you to ALL the journals from all the people that post theirs here. :) Moni
