We ended up buying an 18'x30' used Chois softsided pool. As soon as the current heat wave breaks, I will prep the site and put it up. Found it on Craigslist. It was full and running when we went to look at it. No leaks, everything was in very good condition, except for a little "sunburn" on the very top edge. It was fairly easy to disassemble. The frame seems very sturdy. I'll let you know how it all goes together.

Noticed a house for sale in the next town over with a striking in-ground pool with deck. Here is one of the photos: and the link for other views... house with in-ground pool and nice deck Not sure of your configuration but this was done on a regular flat subdivision lot and look a lot better (to me) than some of those landscaped wrap-arounds. If you are on a budget, you might be able to do it in planned stages.
