Sydneys prom pics...............

They eneded up only 6 of them going in the limo they decided they didn't want to be crowded duh it is made to hold 20 but that is okay they had a blast! Went to Tulsa to eat then back to the prom we met them there took pics then us parents went riding til time to get them again (he even took the boys and Brians mom for a ride while we were still taking pics a very nice man) Stacy

The hat was an after thought. When we were at the tux shop we did not even see hats. The cute little gal with Connor is his girlfriend and she has an older brother who hangs out with this particular group of kids. They all went to the prom together. One of the girls is only a freshman and her parents were worried about the kids driving so the parents of Connor's date drove all of them. Even took them out to dinner! Anyway, Dakota's (Connor's girl) brother was the one who bought the hat and decided he did not like it and gave it to Connor to wear. We are all "hat" people in our family anyway! Trish Thanks for all the nice comments, I am pretty proud of this kid. His birthday is today too. 17!

I agree with everyone else--wow, what a couple of beauties!! Your dgd looks beautiful in her dress and her hair is stunning. I want to mention that my dd also went with a group of girls, as did one of her sisters; my middle dd went with a "date" who was just a good friend, with a larger group of friends. They all agree that going in a group is much more fun that just a single date. One more thing that I find funny is that it's perfectly acceptable for girls to go with a group of girls, but boys absolutely will not go with a group of boys. It seems that the girls all dance together (fast songs, of course,) but boys don't.

Stacy, LOVE these pictures! It looks like they had a great time and got home safe. Sydney is just gorgeous and Cody is a doll too. I think it's kinda funny they had the dance at the Seniors Center! lol

Great pictures. Your azaleas are beautiful too. Did they do a Senior Promenade? My boys' was a Jr./Sr. prom and they had the Seniors go across the stage with their date. Then they made all the parents leave so the kids could enjoy their prom. It's such a magical night for these kids. It's so neat to see the girl's dresses and hair. Man, I feel old! lol

Thanks everyone....No they don't do a promande thing wish they did...that is a cool idea though LOL all the events are at the Senior Citzens Center it is the nicest place in Checotah..Stacy

What a nice group of kids. They look so grown up in their outfits. Cept the white shoes! must be the kid thing though. One of Kevin's friends wore the white tennies too. Oh well , it's their prom. The thing to have at the prom at our school is a tie for the girl to wear with her dress. In the case of Kevin's date though, she said she thought it was silly. Kevin had one for her and she took it home for a momento I suppose.
