Her daughter is there with her, today, and Bess is in bed. Weak and not feeling well.

Thanks for the up date, Glenda. I've been thinking about Bess and wondering how she was doing. It's a terrible thing to go through.

When her chemo was over the other week, she told me she asked the doctor if there was any way they could check and see if the chemo was working.

She was concerned, as I would be, and anyone else.

Doctor told her she was handling the chemo fine, and if they did anything to check, it might delay her chemo treatments. I think that's what she meant.

Plus she had started losing her hair.

Was an experience taking her. I feel for everyone having to endure that horrible horrible cancer.

I'm here to do anything to help, and her family knows that as well as Bess.

My prayers too.

We are having terrible news in our area. The amount of chemo strengths that were sent to our cancer clinic were incorrect dosages and over 600 people have not been receiving adequate amounts. I kinow 4 just in our small church.
I'm a cancer survior for the last 2 years and hope to continue that way,.So is my son and my son-in-law. I feel for all of you and will be continuing my prayers for each of you;.

glenda, when that happen i just said ok, i'm not waititng and shaved the rest off...it was scarey and sure made my heart sad, but i felt i was taking charge...

head over to wal mart..in the same section as purses, ect, they have a selection of bandanas...i had one for summer, and one for halloween..they were my "statement"....i was lucky as breast c drugs wern't as harsh as some? she's got to be reminded that she is still your friend, a mom, and everything she was before, aside from some very nasty cells that have invaded...

and be as incouraging to the family as possible...they have to keep that positive outlook as well...prayers are continuing!
