Need 3/4 bath in 4' x 10' space... HELP!
Comments (12)If you use a Toto wall hung toilet with an in-the-wall tank by Geberit or Toto, (Geberit makes one that fits in a 4-1/2" stud wall), it will extend into the room 21". That would leave you 27" in front of the toilet, which meets the minimum. Your other option would be to create wet room where the toilet and shower occupied the same space. The toilet could go on the back 4' wall (I would still do wall hung), and the whole floor under it and four feet in front of it could be a large shower floor. Then at the front of the bathroom could be a narrow wall hung sink. This could be carried out with a conventional shower pan but it would not be as convenient for in-the-night trips to the bathroom. A shower pan with a threshold in the front and in the back could be placed in the middle of the room and you would walk through the shower to get to the toilet at the back. A bit to think about walking through the bathroom but it would function. The problem is the door location. I am planning a second, 3/4 bath that is 7 x 3.5 that works only because the door is in the middle of the long wall, with toilet on one side of the door, shower on the other and narrow sink in the middle. It just barely meets the minimum of 24" in front of the toilet with a conventional shower pan, or could exceed it if I did a flush shower pan with trench drain....See MorePhillips 27PS55 Horizontal Position Problem
Comments (0)I have a 27" Phillips TV about 2 years old. The picture is excellent and the sound works fine. However, there is a 4" horizontal black gap at the top of the screen. It appears that the picture is simply adjusted down this far horizontally. I cannot find any horizontal or vertical screen adjustment, even after taking the back off the tv. Any help would be greatly appreciated....See MoreNeed PS help plus votes for paint/rug for DD's room!
Comments (14)Delta: I love that chair rail organizer idea, unfortunately I don't think we have the wall space for anything like that. Almost all the walls will have furniture against them or back up to a door--except for the corner where the oak hutch is now which I'll probably put her easel there until she outgrows it in another year or so. I do agree she needs some type of hanging coat rack and saw a few iron with curlicue ones on eBay--but that's for the finishing touches. What did you think of the Barely Teal I have above? It's the lightest color on the aqua strip. lyban: Hmmm... the lime ones do look pretty good. I'll have to look at those some more when I get ready to order my next batch of samples. DD prefers aqua with lime accents. Other option is this aqua rug on Overstock.com: http://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden/Hand-woven-Majesta-Shag-Rug-5-x-8/2870502/product.html It's hard to tell from the pics, I apologize, but her room is very small. We currently have an accent wall, but I don't think it works in a room her size--also was thinking the same with an accent ceiling. I'm actually wondering if it'd be better to paint the ceiling the same as the walls to give it a more expansive feeling? As much as I like the seafoam furniture, I feel it's starting to pull this room in another direction. I was thinking the color that would really compliment it is a pale lavender... but that is not DD's wish. Hopefully some kind soul will take pitty on me and lend some photoshop help so I know which direction to go for paint samples....See Moreglx-pcb aqua-logic main board
