First post, building, need one paint color for all by Sunday!
Comments (4)Thanks for the tip! I will look at Natural Wicker. I have the Ben deck and the SW decks. The painter goes to the SW store and they mix his paint in Mautz which SW bought. That doesn't thrill me. The cabs are close to Ben Linen, bit lighter. SHould the trim be the same as the cabinets? I am so excited to finally have painted trim. I live in WI and it's almost illegal to paint wood here. Ha ha...See MoreI'm thinking to paint all my interior walls
Comments (4)So, with that idea in mind, select a color that you want to copy for your wall accent color. Get samples from SW. And even after you choose a color, buy a sample jug of the paint. Get some poster board and paint two coats of the color and see what you think of the color...not only in daylight, but with lights turned on at night in the room. If it doesn't look quite right, continue with the sampling until you're happy with the color. If you're not sure, invite a friend over to help you decide. We'd love to know how it all turns out!...See MoreIf you painted your whole interior one color....
Comments (12)You’ve gotten good suggestions on colors so I won’t add. But I will say I made a huge error by painting most rooms a different color of beige/greige b/c of lighting, mood I wanted for the room, etc. I kept paint swatches, paint formulas but life got in the way and when I really needed to refer to swatches, photos, etc, they were nowhere to be found or formulas had been changed. It was a nightmare to re-organize paints and match colors. I swore I’d use only ONE neutral from here on. I have a red room and that’s no problem but those danged neutrals were a mess. Do stick to one color or maybe to no more than 3. Each “similar” color you add exponentially complicates future confusion....See MoreKitchen to hallway to masterbedroom all one paint color?
Comments (4)I would strongly discourage you from using that color in your main living space it is very intenseand will cast a pink hue on everthing . If you want it in the bedroom it might be okay but honestly I would save that for a little girls room on one wall. Get some proper lighting in the kitchen , the easiest is a LED track light with 3500- 5000K bulbs it will add tons of light to that space . Take the swag off the window it blocks light. There is nothing muted about that color BTW....See Moreluv2bmemaw
