Congrats on your pool! Ours is to gunite and like you I'm thinking ahead to the other stuff we'll be needing to round out the "environment".

On the fire table, have you seen the Oriflamme tables? I love the decorative ring shapes they use. Here is a video of one of them:

The only thing that bothers me about them is they don't use a standard 20 gallon propane tank, so the special tank it comes with would have to be refilled rather than just doing a standard tank swap.

It's always incredibly cute when you girls get the new pool is coming exitement.
My suggestion is look at many things but don't make a hasty purchase.

Last night I was at a party at a neighbors house where I built a pool a while back. He had an awesome iron fire pit table which was well appointed with ceramic tiles and ornamental iron at the table level (same height as a coffee table) around the lower iron fire box. This was a very well constructed piece of outdoor furniture. It held 4 to 5 logs of regular fireplace size wood. The heat was great and the ambience was incredible. I actually enjoyed it sitting in the light wind poolside better than I did the fire Friday night in my pavillion at the outdoor fireplace.
I meant to ask where he purchased it bit forgot to.

I can assure you that there's nothing better than an outdoor pool table. I shopped and played more outdoor tables at retailers than you could ever ever begin to imagine,
This table rules the roost, it actually plays as well or better than my indoor game room table which cost twice the money.

Make sure it is a high pressure mist system. they will cost you but worth it. Don't know where you are but Fogco makes a nice system and if you have someone buy it who is a contractor they are half what you will see them for on the net. Most products are cheaper that way........

I love the pool table idea, but will have to wait until I see how much deck space we end up with. I looked at both websites and will get with my contractor to see if he can get me a discount.

I also looked at Fogco. I love their gallery photos so I will get with my contractor on the misters too. It seems to be something my DH really wants and he has a b-day coming up in February.

Kelly - If you do happen to run into your neighbor and find out where he got his fire pit, I would love to know. I have seen some that I like, but nothing that I just cannot live without.

The digging starts on Monday so maybe I will get out of my shopping spree mode then, but I have never been so determined to shop and not been able to find much. I ordered two Molly Brown floats/rafts the other night. One is for me and the other one is for our Chocolate Labrador. I also bought her a Furminator (dog comb) that was expensive for a comb, but works FABULOUSLY! All just little things.

Anyway, until the digging starts, I am still shopping!!!! And I am still looking for ideas!
