Thank you for the recommendation. Middletown is about an hour away from here; they may or may not travel that far. However, I did find a company, GoebelWoods, who is able to do it. They did my friend's kitchen cabinets (not just doors) several years ago and she was happy with their service. I called, they came out the next day and called me with a quote later that day! Price seems reasonable and the quality looks good. They use Conestoga Wood for their doors, as do many other companies, including Kraftmaid, that do refacing. Lots more options to choose from than if I chose Kraftmaid through HomeDepot. Doors & drawers will come finished and with my selected hardware and hinges. I will then need someone to instal them and paint the face frames.

we do this work all the time, you could do it yourself but you have to find a quality door manufacturer, We use Conestoga wood specialties, but consumers can not order from them. You can buy doors from home depot, but you can be 99.9% certain they will not be quality. Your best bet may be to contact a door manufacturer that you want to use and see who carries their doors in your area. Look local. Wholesalers only sell to cabinet makers. And you need the cabinet maker’s labor. You won’t be far from complete replacement.

Replace entirely. Get multiple quotes. Read up on features and construction.
