I just heard her sing (thanks Youtube) and I am blown away. I don't watch much TV and have never seen these 'find the next superstar" shows but wow, oh wow, what a treat to see her perform.

I love her singing - I just wanna pluck her eyebrows! But I know her makeover is coming as soon as she gets a stylist with her record deal... what a lovely lovely voice! The interesting thing is she doesn't do any fancy stuff - no rifts, etc... just pure angelic singing.

I'd like to hear her sing something with more range. The song from "Les Miserables" was written for the limited abilities of Sarah Brightman, if I remember correctly. She was the very young (teen?) squeeze of the composer at the time.

Ms. Boyle has 'a voice', but needs professional vocal training before she ruins it. She is straining her voice. She slides into notes; can't make the lower register. I'm glad I heard her, but I hope she gets professional coaching. That would serve her better than any cosmetic makeover!

I hope NO ONE plucks her eyebrows or "fixes her all up" or teaches her how to get all tarted up.

There's a purity in her voice and a natural grace in her appearance. I'm bloody sick of women thinking they have to be doused in cosmetics in order to be "one of the crowd."

I thought she was amazing. Andrew Lloyd Webber wasn't the composer of Les Miz. But he did write the part of Christine Daae in Phantom of the Opera for Sarah Brightman's 3 octave range.

I hope she does go on Oprah so we can hear more. I couldn't get the link to play either.

Oh, absolutely. My husband and I both did. And still do, every time we watch that video on YouTube.

She said she doesn't want a make over and I agree. Why would she need one? She is herself and that's the way she says she wants to stay. I think she's great the way she is!Nothing phony, just great singing!

I've loved kd lang ever since she first came on the scene with her Reclines.....her music a tribute to Patsy Cline.

She sings like a bird, and is very plain, not prettied and fancied up at all, and wears a large pantsuit and usually a vest. I adore her singing and I like her look. It's totally "her".

Give Susan a hairstyle and she could be her own person still.
