We have the same problem (and two others too). For the vibration, that has not been solved yet. I had to threaten to call the attorney general of our state to get them to address this. They replaced the compressor which they said was the cause, but an hour after the guy left, it started again and has continued since, and I have not resolved it yet. The other two problems were contents in the fridge freezing, whcih was due to a door not operating that controlled air to the refrigerator from the freezer compartment. Once they replaced the door, that problem was resolved. And the other problem was the temperature on the door was set at about 40F and the internal temp fluctuated from about 30 to 40. They replaced a circuit board and now when the door temp is set at 39 the internal temp is steady at about 33 and nothing is freezing any longer so although there is a 6 degree difference between the set temp and the internal temp (they say they cannot fix this), but at least it is constant and nothing is freezing. But the vibration noise is really disturbing and remains unresolved.

Since a few of you brought up cast iron - I know this is sort of a well-covered question, but I am still somewhat confused. My unit says specifically 'do not use cast iron' - but I have tried some cast iron and it works (Staub enameled kettle worked once, then didn't, though). Is the 'no cast iron' deal really mainly about scratching/cracking the glass? And the fact that it doesn't make full contact with the magnetic elements? I bought some silicone mats with cast iron in mind, but also am trying to make sure this is kosher since they are heat resistant up to 480 degress, but I really don't know how hot the bottom of a pan gets. Anyhow, thanks for the feedback about various pan types.

FIET IS THE CHEAPEST WORST LIGHTBULB COMPANY ON THE MARKET! THE BUILDERS WENT WITH GOOD DIMMERS AND VERY CHEAP CANS. HALO CANS WOULD BE MY FIRST CHOICE, ANYTHING BUT FIET. THE END. Nora shouldn't be giving you to much trouble, but sometimes with a remote dimmer (R) the delay can be a problem I assume its only the housing and not the retrofit lamp. (also the cheaper way to do things) I would look into relamping only, and would possibly opt for the nora bulb replacements.

when I replaced the main board and pump (several times with new replacements) I cleared all debris from the bottom AND removed the inner tub and cleaned and cleared any debris from the top. I snaked the drain tube just in case. The pump tests flawlessly with the diagnostics test. The pump spins freely but I disassembled it anyway and everything looks good. It seems like a manufacturing issue, possibly over heating. F&P wants me to get a tech out to look at it but there isn’t anything to this system and thats why I like it. A new mainboard should fix any potential voltage issues even though this pump is basically on or off.
