About once a week.

When I have to! I stop and get bread and milk as I need it, which is more often than most of the other food I buy. We have meat in the freezer and I stock up on other stuff. I went even less often when DS worked in a grocery store.

Once or twice a week. It's best, for me, if I divide shopping into two trips because we live on the second floor of the APT house with no elevator and I have to bring stuff up stairs in a two-wheeled cart, and it easier if the load isn't too heavy or if I don't have to make more than one trip. Don't do it on a schedule. I generally pop out for stuff when I need it--often several times a week.

Butthe thing is, at the one house we have over a half-dozen supermarkets within about 2 miles of our front door, and even at the country house, there's one that's less than a mile away (walking distance in nice weather, actually).

I can certainly see where if one had to drive miles to a grocery store, you would plan trips better, and try to shop only once every week or so. I would, if that were the case.

I don't go on a regular basis cause I hate shopping..more and more as the years go by.

The cupboard has to be almost completely empty before I'll head for the grocery store. Sometimes to avoid the larger stores, I'll pick up enough to get by from the Dollar General store close to home.

Once a week, but I will stop and pick up a few things during the week if we need them.

We do drive about 20 miles to shop. Our town closer doesn't have the stores that we like to shop in.

i do my "big" shopping about once a week. But I run out almost daily to my nearest store, just around the corner. I can walk there in less than 10 minutes or drive in about two minutes.

I do the "Big Shop" on pay days which are the middle and end of the month and then pick up the few things we need and/or run out of (ex. milk, fruit, etc.) in between.

As little as possible. When I run out of TP or feminine products. LOL

I go to the grocery store when I need to. Sometimes it's once a week, sometimes once every two weeks. I have no schedule.

I make a plan and go every two weeks for what we call the "the big grocery run." On a weekend day I go first to BJs wholesale (take a cooler for cold stuff) then to Kroger. It takes a couple hours, even though the stores are close. I fill the back of the van-- I am feeding 6 people. I have a lot of storage in the garage for non-perishables. In between, we will run out of milk or bread, small things, and make 2-3 quick runs for just those items, one bag, in and out.

I loath shopping of all kinds (except for books). I used to go more often, but making a plan helps me get what we need and avoid too many trips.

I try to shop if I'm out and not make a special trip....Almost every Sunday after breakfast, we'll stop at Aldi's and every other Monday, the Schwan man stops, so we're well taken care of....I really, really don't like to shop.....

It's at least a 12-mile round trip to any grocery store, so I go as seldom as I can. A running grocery list is nice, as I jot down each essential we're running low on as it happens, and try to go only once a week. I'm feeding a construction crew right now though, and due to weather conditions don't know whether they'll be here from one day to the next..and how many. So interim trips are a a necessity.

I aim for every two weeks. It takes a lot of planning, but
I hate to grocery shop, so it's worth it.

It's been almost two months since we have grocery shopped. Hubby stops for bread and a few items as needed. Finances are tight and we are doing our best to stretch things out.

I usually go each day after work to p/u something. Don't do it on a schedule.

Like Azzalea I just shop as needed. But I too am surrounded by grocery stores so it's not a big deal.

About once a month I drive to the super Walmart about 30 miles away and stock up on pantry items,frozen foods,soda etc. A hundred dollars goes a lot further there than at the grocery.

Once a week at walmart, but not on any set day. If I need anything else, I stop at Braums or a small grocery store a couple of blocks from home.

Really depends on what's on sale, the mood I'm in, if I'm doing a lot of cooking or whatever else may factor into the equasion. I suppose I average once or twice a month and maybe less. Holiday times there's deals that I'll stock the freezer and shelves a bit then I don't have to go very often. I have started going a little more often and buying less. Lately grapes and milk have been on sale cheap so I've been buying those items and getting a few other things but I haven't bought much for a long time with the prices.

There's been times it's cheaper to eat out!

dh and i go once a week, although i had clipped some coupons today and used them on things we can't get at costco or sam's...

Usually about once a week, depending on when I'm going to the city, nearly 20 mi. away, what's on special in the weekly (sometimes bi-weekly) flyers, and I'll buy enough of sale items to last for a while.

Use a breadmaker ... but I drink quite a lot of milk (bought slightly over a gallon at a time).
