What do you think of these color combinations?

White dove for the perimeter, cherry island, brown for the perimeter counters and the granite for the island. One of the blue/grey colors will be the walls (what little wall space there will be).

I LIKE your selections! They are beautiful together - especially the blue/gray color chips with the granite. Please share details of the granite and the color chips. Also, is that lagos blue engineered stone on top of the white dove sample or is that a paint sample for brown perimeter cabinets?

That is a shade of brown quartz for the perimeter counters. The granite is a sandalwood? I have no idea about the names of the granite colors, but we like it.

Here's bigger picture of the granite slab. We are also planning on using a piece of it for a backsplash behind the stove.

If you look at both pictures again you will note that it isn't so much that the colors are so garish in the first-the combinations of the intensity is wrong. In the first it is the light pink (Nelly Moser?) that throws the whole combination off. When using intense colors, everything has to be intense. The idea works well in the second picture because they used similar intensity of color, not just the colors they used. I always found Clematis to be quite fussy about PH of the soil, more so then any other plants. They also like their roots cool so planting something at the base of them or covering with a rock or pot worked well for me in my (then) hot, humid summers.

Here are some pictures of Gossamer blue and wedgewood blue next to Pallaidian blue They really don't show the true color and I tried everything. Don't have a picture of the PR since it is not done and there is no light fixture in there. I took a picture anyhow from outside the PR and had to focus on the ceiling fan,otherwise my camera will not focus on a blank wall. From left to right looking at bottom colors gossamer blue, palladian blue, wedgewood blue picture od PW gossamer blue on wall seafoam on ceiling These colors look a little gray on my monitor but I promise you they are not. Gossamer blue is from the Color Preview and is number 2123-40 The 2 colors on top right and middle are something else

We're in the process of painting our finished basement Revere Pewter with Simply White trim. It looks terrific so far. It reads a warm grey in our house so I'm not sure I would pair it with a true grey, but I have two friends with Revere Pewter living rooms and theirs look a little cooler so I could see it working well in the right lighting.

There is a granite with cream and blue in it called juperana persa blue that could really tie a blue-cream scheme together.

Wow, what's not to love here? I think you need the cool counterpart (your wall colors) to all of the other warm choices, and the wall color choices look to be a good match with some of the coloring in the granite.
