Moving Kitchen Sink Drain Pipe

I'm putting in a new kitchen. Currently, my double sink has two traps, connecting with two "slightly sloping" runs of PVC that run about 5 feet along the wall before entering the wall (they enter individually, I can't see what else is going on at present). I see no vent pipe on the exterior of my house in the area. In the basement, I have a 2" PVC that connects to the two drain runs above.

I'd like to get rid of the two runs of PVC along the wall, and reroute the drain in the basement so I have one pipe coming up through my floor and into my sink cabinet.

PVC is pretty simple to work with - does this sound like something I could do myself? Why doesn't it appear to have a vent in the area?

thanks....I'm nearing the end of a 2 month kitchen redo, and this is my last big set of cabinets to rip out and put new ones in.
