I forgot to mention....I'd use the floor lamp across the room next to an identical wingback chair....no table...

I like it, and it doesn't say country to me. However, it looks small. Did you ask the height?

Neither lamp says "Country" and neither one is Arts and Crafts. I think you could use them in the same room with wing back chairs.

I would make sure the tripod base is stable on the floor lamp. It looks like it could be a topple problem with kids or pets. From the photo it also look like it might be missing the harp. Something else to consider.

It looks like a rusted, rustic floor lamp. I'm not sure a coat of paint and a lamp shade will fix that??????

The harp is gone on the candlestick lamp as well. The shade sits on the light socket.

Nicole, it sounds like you don't really care for it. I'd pass if that's really the case.

If you get it, it'd be a piece of cake to fix, and you can buy a harp at the hardware store. I think it'd look nice with a coordinating shade to the table lamp, and painted in a gloss black.

I thought about this Pesky1....the reason I'm asking here on GW....is because I brought home a FREE floor lamp last year...it now resides in the attic. :0) So I got it out. I think I can paint it....and change the shade!!!!! Viola! Reading lamp, not torchier!

Now this idea I love! It's a very pretty lamp as is, but can also see it with a shade for reading. Good move!
