(And a heads up to anyone who didn't see his posts on this)
I am a produce bag convert. Thank you so much for the idea of using them inside freezer bags. Now I basically never freeze anything in a vacuum bag without first bagging it in a produce bag. Unbelievable saving in money since the vacuum bag almost never is soiled, and it's so easy!

With help from GW I bought a good meat grinder to grind chicken for our geriatric cat. I package single servings in cheap (about 1cent each) sandwich bags, then toss a couple dozen of them in a produce bag, twist it tight and tie it. Into the freezer it goes. Don't even bother to vacuum seal and they seem to do fine for the month or so I will keep them.

Anyway, thanks again for a great idea.
