Pen, I like the gel pens, hardly ever use a pencil.

Pen for writing letters, pencil for crosswords (okay, I'm not infallible) and for copying recipes so spills don't blur the instructions (I'm also not terribly neat).

For general writing and for the most part, -- a pen.

Pencil (for its erasable feature) if things are subject to change, such as some calendar entries re: scheduling. Or for meal planning.

I like the gel pens. I have a lot of pretty ones. Pencil sometimes, not often.

I prefer pens. I have them stashed all over the house. By every phone. In the bedroom . In the kitchen. By the computer. A bunch in a desk drawer. In the car. Two in my purse. Any time I go to DMV I need a pen to fill out their stupid forms.

Pens for permanent stuff, pencils for drafting patterns and crafting.

Always a pen, even doing the crosswords (I use Whiteout if I make a mistake). I have to hide the pens because my kitty, Peggy Sue, will knock them off tables and hide them.

Only a pen, has to be a Pilot V5...I won't use a pencil.

Fat, gel pens, black. I prefer purple, but they're hard to find here.

I'm a leftie and pencil gets all over my hand, wrist, and arm.

Mostly pencils for me. I use them for making notes, doing Sudoku, writing addresses in my address book (then when someone moves I can erase their old address and write in their new one), and practically everything that doesn't require permanence.

I use pen for documents, my signature, and the like. I am very particular about pens I use. I do not like metal ones because my fingers slip down right to the tip on the paper. I like a pen that has a rubber grip.

Fine tip pens for me. I do use pencils for crafting, etc.

Mostly pens for me, but I use pencils when working 3 or more star Sudoku puzzles.
