Happy Birthday Again Maria! (mer4205)

Since Maria's birthday thread fell victim to the lost threads from after midnight...see the ivillage notice below from the top of this page:

"Wednesday, December 30, 11:00am ET: During our maintenance window, we experienced issues that required restoring yesterday's backup files. Unfortunately, this means that anything that was posted since midnight was lost. We apologize for the inconvenience, but in order to bring back site functionality, this was a necessary evil. Please contact us if you have questions."

I'll start it again since it is still Maria's birthday and we don't want her to think we've forgotten her.

Sending you best wishes for a very Happy Birthday today maria and much happuness in the coming year!

Thank you to everyone who sent me Birthday Wishes yesterday! I spent the day napping, had a few chocolate chip cookies with coffee, and put together an order from Brent & Becky's newest catalog... Whatever you do, don't skip your vitamins! This is a combination chest cold/flu that will knock you down for a few days! I feel really horrible, and I wouldn't want any of you to get this one! Double up on the Echinacea to boost your immune system! Thanks again, everyone! Just knowing that so many of you were thinking of me yesterday helped make me feel a little bit better! :-)

Thank-you all! Wonderful day. Work went. Didn't get much done but no disasters. Stuck on what to get michael for his birthday. Lyra got a new blouse. Suppose a gift in itself not to want anything. Anyone got some world peace they ain't using? Jessy! We need to party but Sol has me on the bunny cam. Almost went and got that beer. We need to party again soon! Thanks again. Best part of my birthday party was visiting with my friends on the GW. Going out for a pbr. : ) lyra & michael

A belated Happy B-Day Lori!!! Glad to hear it was a good one. Mackenzie is such a little sweet heart to wrap the outfit you got the night before...awww!!! The best gifts are the ones that come out of no where --massages and clean car! Now I will always remember your birthday because it's the same day as my niece's (Miss Perky is 18) weren't we all Perky at 18! Keep the partying going...Hey its St. Patricks Day...good excuse. Thanks... you all sure know how to make a gal feel young. My co-worker, Mary bought me a cake. I wasn't excpecting anything, so that was nice of her. She said it was her way for thanking me for the lemon bars, brownies, cheddar biscuits, and cookies... and for the carrot cake that I made for her birthday. It was very chocolate and very rich. Called the chocolate avalanche cake from Publix. Pics: I was going to try to get an open shot, but I RUINED it when I cut the silly thing. I ruin any cake I ever try to cut. And that silly plastic thing they give with the cake to slice serves more to smash and squash than slice and serve... but it was very good and moist no matter what it looked like! I also bought some Toblerone for myself after renewing the lease today... a friend gave me that for a birthday several years ago, so it's been a tradition ever since. Thanks again... I REALLY enjoy this forum and the people here. One of the hightlights of my day is to log in here and see what's going on with everyone!

Maria, I posted on the other thread too, but it's worth saying twice: Happy Birthday, and I hope you celebrate right through to the new year.
