Thank-you! I went out to a benefit dinner yesterday. A fellow employee had passed away and the money raised was given to a charity. It got me out of the house and into a party with lots of friends. New program at work I'm not allowed to work every weekend... I didn't even complain about that new rule. That means I have the whole weekend off! Jessy... like I told my new supervisor... "I am behaving... just behaving badly". FOAS... I think I burned out a brake pad missing a rooster pheasent... he made it and it was time for new brakes anyway. dedtired... I think I age the same rate but it hurts twice as much. Annie it has been exciting times at the bar. New bartender to be named Ella appeared on ultrasound pictures this week. A fine looking young lady! Grandma owns the bar so I hope to be around in 18 years when she sets that first beer up. Tonight beers with Jessica at a run down whistlestop hotel bar in the middle of nowhere... huge creepy ancient place... pictures on the wall show horses and buggies out front when the place was newer. Spring is here! Only 18 degrees out but the sun was warm enough to sit outside with my sleeves rolled up awhile. So begins another year.... : ) lyra

Hi Everyone and Thank-you for the birthday wishes. Alas I wore plain old jeans and t-shirt out with some sht stomper boots. Local gals and friends were out in force to celebrate with me. My second favorite bar kept 3 drinks in front of me until I said enuf. Favorite bar fed me and sent me on my way home. As FB friends know I put a solid state drive in my computer. That was my present to myself... in addition to the whole week off work! Yup been living the easy life this week. Computer boots up in a few seconds now... speedy! Intel 520... about a $1 a Gig and fairly easy to install. Last week of rabbit season here in Michigan and a fine fat buck rabbit hopped out and offered to be my dinner... he was a little tough from age but tasted fine. Got a broth simmering from the ribs... probably gravy and dumplings later tonight. Kitties joined the party when I plopped a 12oz can of tunafish on their plate. You should have seen their eyes pop! Lots of purring and paw licking after that feast. A week long party... Ashley Monroe on the stereo at the moment... you might know her from the Pistol Annies group. I hope I'm not being too much of a downer for everyone. I just have never dealt well with things like this. My imagination starts to run wild, and I imagine the worst case scenarios - losing the house, jobless, homeless, stuff like that. I don't know what that says about me personally, but I don't think it's very good. I really appreciate all of you listening and putting up with my whining, and for your birthday wishes. It really does mean a lot to me.

Greetings! and Thank-you!

So far a good year going. I remembered to get my license plate tabs on time! Problems with a pinched nerve in my back have dramatically improved. Most of the pain is gone and more importantly I have some energy to live life with again.

Thanks again everyone! I'll check in again after work. I had thought about taking the day off but for some stupid reason never put in the paper work. Currently running about a month or so behind in production. Interesting times at work... as the curse goes.

Wonderful day. Work went. Didn't get much done but no disasters.

Stuck on what to get michael for his birthday. Lyra got a new blouse. Suppose a gift in itself not to want anything. Anyone got some world peace they ain't using?

Jessy! We need to party but Sol has me on the bunny cam. Almost went and got that beer. We need to party again soon!

Thanks again. Best part of my birthday party was visiting with my friends on the GW. Going out for a pbr.
