Low kitchen faucet pressure with new hot water dispenser tank

quandary

I replaced the tank for my instant hot water dispenser, and now the water pressure (both hot & cold) is low at my kitchen faucet. The new bigger tank was a tight fit because of garbage disposal and pipes, so I thought I must have bent a pipe while I was installing it. They all look okay (no sharp bends). The cold water inflow tube to the tank is connected with a brass nut onto a plastic threaded snap-connect fitting. It was leaking just a little, but I think if have it finger tightened now.

The valves are fully open. I never turned the hot water off, and the pressure was fine until I installed the new tank.

Any ideas as to what might be affecting both hot and cold water pressure?
