Was up at 6, got the bedroom closet organized (no small task, it's a large walk-in). Packed up my jewelry, unloaded, reloaded the dw.

Taking a short break (it's about 7:30), then will empty the safe of my coin collection (will take to the new house) so we can put our other valuables in the safe while the house is on the market, and strangers are wandering through. Then will clean the kitchen.

Later may run down to the candy supply store to pick up some chocolate for my Easter Candy--although I'm not certain they're open on Tues.

I finished 90% of what I wanted to do yesterday so only have 1 "rollover" for today. Bathrooms are high on today's list and finish planting some seeds in the greenhouse, personal laundry and I'm done. The kids in our district get tomorrow, Thursday, and Friday off for Easter/spring break. Supposed to snow tomorrow so I'm spending as much time outdoors today as I can

Today I will need to run the vac and do some cleaning. I spent the last two days making fleece blankets, full size, for two of my greatgrandkids.

I am changing around my sewing room AGAIN!
I do that too much.

I am going to get an embroidery machine and
I need to make room for it. I could use the
whole house for sewing supplies!

Made the bed, dropped Joe off at work, went to a few stores, bumped into an old friend, took some pics for my blog, saw an iceberg, got gas, going now to drop off lunch to Joe then I will go take pics of that iceberg (a 1/2 hour drive to get closer to it). I will come home and get on the treadmill, thankfully we're invited out to supper so I don't have to cook. It's Joe's mother's birthday so I will make out a card for her (bought her a gift certificate to a restaurant).

I'm on vacation, and so far, I've not done a blasted thing except check out work emails to see if I'm missing anything important, check out the KT and the local Craig's List, and play a Bubble popper until I won. That took a little while.

But downstairs, should I ever make it down there, is my laundry room which needs cleaning. DH is supposed to vaccuum and shampoo carpets for me today. I hope to start on the kitchen today too, but that all depends on how long I sit in this chair, putting off going down those stairs. LOL!

Day is just starting here in CA. Work is a little slow right now so I'm hoping to spend some time going through more vacation photos to upload to Photobucket. And I hope to find time to do some spring cleaning on my Macintosh and PC hard drives. I have photos and files scattered everywhere, hiding in sub-folders and in places they just shouldn't be. My desktops are a mess! I want to burn everything to CD or DVD and free up some space on my computers.

That should take me through to next Sunday. :-)

I did get my dining room mopped. You know it is possible to sit down and mop! I got the cats fed, ran the dishwasher, put Roomba to work in the family room, gave Izzi a bath, and had lunch. Oh, I also looked in the garage for a paint roller. Didn't find one for daughter, Amber. They are painting their kitchen cabinets. I need to rest my back and knee for a bit so will see what I get done later.

Well, guess my plans have come to a screeching halt.

Let's see, after I posted above, I did go back to the closet and freshened the look by hanging some leftover wallpaper I found.

And I DID empty the safe--maybe I should have skipped that one. Because then I got the bright idea to move it. It's fairly heavy, so I opened the door to get a better grip. Dum idea. That heavy door swung back on me and slammed into my hand, right behind my knuckles. Don't think anythings broken--can move my fingers, and nothing seems 'loose' in there--LOL. But boy is it bruised, swollen and painful. Am sitting here typing with a bag of ice resting on th eback of my hand.

Guess I'm entitled to a break, right?

I finally got around to cleaning out my entertainment center, got rid of piles of VHS tapes & cassettes, but somehow I lost 2 of my new DVD's I can't find them anywhere. Then I did some cleaning in the spare room where our Macaw seems to live and DH has his laptop. I'm on a roll today, better get busy again.

The hardest thing for me to do this morning was to get dressed....Would you believe we had snow over night and it's darn cold.....And to boot, my electric blanket died!

But after lunch, DH, DGS and I went shopping...My DH, the non shopper, actually suggested it...DGS wanted new sneakers, we needed stuff to make pizza and then hit a couple of goodwill shops along the way....It is a real treat having DGS with us this week, what a joy!

Went to Mama's and cleaned her house, cooked something for her lunch and something later for supper.

Came home and made some donut dough! It is now rising in the oven with NO heat but with the light on for warth. It is cold here and the house is chilly. I refuse to turn the heat on so I will just suffer....LOL

Dh is out of town so I'm giving our bedroom a serious deep cleaning...i wonder what will happen when I can no longer crawl under the bed to vacumn it...an incentive...keep enough weight off to be able to fit under the bed...LOL

Kids are home this week. So am I. ;o) I subbed the last 12 school days in a row before break. And the house looked like it! We did get a lot done yesterday, though.

Today DD had gymnastics practice and I picked up/dropped off a teammate. So, time-wise, that running around was the biggest chunk of my day, with no real results to show for it. In between, I went to BJs wholesale club to stock up on some regular stuff. Took it home, put it away, made the boys lunch. Rotated laundry. Went back for the girls at the gym, watched for an hour (it's a 3-1/2 hour practice). I have also read 2 lessons of my online class (I'm behind, I have 4 more to go today to be caught up).

Just checking in here before I leave the computer for now. I'll go by the laundry room and rotate more laundry, then down to the kitchen to load dishwasher and start dinner (I don't know what yet).

The boys' practices are cancelled today because it went and SNOWED! OK, just flurries, but it's cold and wet... this is supposed to be SPRING break! I am also going to make some afternoon coffee.
