Not a very good picture...taken through the window and it is pouring down rain. A dozen goldfinches...we are over run with them this year.

I LOVE that truck! Great photos everyone. I have been out of the loop for a week or so. Did a little jaunt to South Dakota. This is the Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, South Dakota. My dad, his wife, my brother and my aunt are buried here.

When we first moved to Southern CA 35 years ago we spent a good deal of time in Long Beach because DH was in the Navy. There were a couple of cute little islands right off the coast that looked so pretty at night all lit up. I was jealous of whoever it was that could afford to live such an exotic life. Then one day I was told the truth ... they are oil refineries dressed up to look like a proper community. LOL Sorry the pictures are so crooked, we were driving by when I took them. A drive by shooting as it were. :-) 18x zoom used here.
