Turned in my special 7-day borrow limit popular book last night, to avoid $2.00/day penalty.

After we heard at the investment meeting about a company supplying materials for infrastructure renewal ... that's paying over 13% per year (that's taxed at top rate).

Have to get my driver's licence renewal taken care of.

Need to get some money from bank - just about flat ... and pay some util. bills.

Need to finish friend's income tax prep. And start getting things collected to prepare my own.

Need to get some tomato seeds to start in basement - should have done it before: I got some other kinds a while ago, but there were no tomato seeds there.

I'll likely get some volunteer tomatoes, as I got about half a dozen last year, after throwing dead tomatoes out on the garden in the fall before. Got dozens of squash plants that way last year, gave several to neighbours.

If it's decently warm and not windy - need to take poles and strings out of garden, so landlord can cultivate it, to get cover chopped up and partially covered, on its way to rotting.

Better go to bed now - need my beauty sleep.

This day started with my dog throwing up on me so it can only get better! LOL!

I have to go to a committee meeting this morning for our book sale and then do some sorting and pricing on the books. We have had over 20,000 books donated by the public to our sale and they all have to be sorted and priced before the sale next week.

Then I have a few errands to do and this evening we have our CFUW annual general meeting and dinner.

I was supposed to golf this morn, but we have thunderstorms and tornado watches this am. We need the rain, but not the storms. The rest of the week and through the weekend is supposed to be great weather though, so it is still a blessing to live in Florida.

Unpacking and putting things away. Pretty much I can ditto that for every day this week. We are cleaning area rugs tomorrow is the weather permits. We want them to dry outside. I want to dig in the dirt but weather is not cooperating.

Making a "honey-do" list for DH. Calling the accountant to get the taxes finished. Watching the weather as we are supposed to have snow tonight. I won't haul the plants out of the greenhouse today like I usually do to harden them off.

I have everything packed and ready to go, so Nita and I will go have breakfast in town, wash the car, load luggage and head to meet DeeDee for lunch. I've been trying so hard to put on some weight and this trip just might do it! LOL After lunch we will travel to see Buzzard and Ruthie. It's gonna be a fun day.

I'm going to do my part in fattening up Maryann and feeding the Nita and Buzzie too. I have to take a shower and make breakfast but other than that, it's a KT People visiting day.

Nothing exciting like Ruthie, Nita, and MaryAnn.
I'm going to serve a funeral luncheon at 11:00. I have to get a few groceries because I have to make a "Better Than Sex" cake for mom's coffee group tomorrow. I also have to find and mail a book to someone.

We had thunderstorms most of the night and it's still dark and booming once in a while. Should pass over by noon. We sure needed the rain, so I'm not griping.

I've already started on my "ahead" cooking for when the kids come from CA tomorrow. Got a blueberry-pineapple gelatin salad made, baked beans ready to go into the oven, potatoes are cooling for potato salad. Eggs are HB'd and everything's chopped (did that Sunday). Have rice krispy squares made, too.

Got an appointment for a haircut at 2. I sure hope THIS time I can at least get both sides even. This is my sixth different shop. If this doesn't work, I'll have to venture into town someplace.

$1 store for batteries for my mouse.
A few other misc. errands.

After my foot treatment injections yesterday, I am walking pain free today!! So I will celebrate by working in the yard. (with my brace on)

I'm making spinach quiche right now for my "breakfast" and so I won't have to get up the next two days and make anything, just warm them up before work. Haven't had quiche in a long time.

Have dishes to do, floors to mop, carpets to steam clean. Trying to the house ready for Lauren's birthday party this weekend. Going to concentrate on the kitchen first.

Flying 600 miles to see my very ill Sister.
She is now in Hospice. My Heart is broken.

We are cleaning "junk" out of the upstairs unfinished room..It is a good size room (about 18'x 23')

My son Jeff and a good friend of his who has a flooring business....(he used to work for Jeff when Jeff had his business) They are going to put wood flooring up there.

And I have a railing I'm going to have him put up along the stairway instead of a wall.

We'll get it painted too..

But we probably will never use the room....
Just getting some things finished.

Jeff's friend is doing it with left over wood from his jobs....at no cost to us. What more can I ask....

I "thought" today was the day to work at the gardens, at the extension center. Rode my bike there, but no one was there. :(

Well, that work day isn't till tomorrow!!! Drat, I guess, tomorrow I will drive there.

At least I got one errand taken care off, while I was out, and I got my bike ride in for today.

Now, I will head out and plant some more of the plants I brought back from Tulsa last week.

Got the house clean and doing laundry, just have a couple pairs of jeans to startch and a few shirts....the sun is finally shining today and no wind (or at least not like it has been so will try and get some weed spraying done....) and Brian is bringing me another truck load of mulch home so have dinner to put on (stew) so when he gets home I can unload about 6 mule bed loads of mulch and spread it....Stacy

I have lots of outside work to do today. It is going to be cool, low 60's, but sunny. I am digging up and moving 4 roses by the house/deck to down by the gazebo. I am going to plant 4 brugmansia where the roses were after conditioning the soil with compost. The brugs should do better there because it is by the house and protected. The roses grew too big and grew out over the walkway and would get you as you walked by. DH hated that. That will probably take all day. Also got laundry to do too in between.

I have all my curtains in the dryer and more laundry to start. I need to get things done this week while I still hav the use of both arms. I also want my house to be clean before I go to St Louis because when I get back friends will bringing me food and a home care service will be sending someone to help out with housework.

I have been working on weeding out my sewing,craft,computor room and getting rid of tons of stuff that i no longer do.I've got a hugh box packed up to donate to the girls and boys club.I still have to go thru my fabrics(tons of it),and sewing,quilting and craft books.Some stuff i'll try to sell,others donate.It's a monumental task for sure.
