to ask what is probably an ignorant question..

Is it a complicated (read expensive) proposition to replace the drains in a double sink?? I don't need or want to replace the sink, which has been in the same cabinet since 1950 :^) The visible parts of the drains are understandably quite nasty looking in spite of regular cleaning. I don't want to call a plumber and look stupid as all get out if this can't be done.

I sincerely appreciate any information!
