my kitchen cabinets are done, the island is in and today they are making a template for my counters and island. This picture is what my perimeter counters will have and my island has antico bianco granite.
I have to post multiple pics as I cannot put all in one post, for now. I was considering a light grey blue for my walls but also considering a beigy taupe. I have 2 questions:
1) Would the blue grey fit in with the browns and 2) would the beigy taupe look too boring with my already brown counters?
I have not picked out a backsplash yet and am open to any suggestions. I know I do not want a busy backsplash and most likely some type of glass tile backsplash but not definite yet. I know these questions might seem to general? As you can see in the next few pics, my appliances are stainless.
Any suggestions, advice welcome!

I am with the few that don't like them to be painted. I've seen too many that were sloppily done, and/or obviously had many coats of paint applied over the years. Painted ones tend to be more difficult to dust, because the paint used is usually the eggshell or flat wall paint, not glossy in the same color as the wall. However, since yours are already painted, I would say keep, or paint, them the color of the wall and not change them to white. Painting them white now serves no purpose.

BM Simply White ceiling and BM ballet white for walls. Looking at it from other side, I’m again thinking ceiling color, so as not to highlight the post that we unfortunately can’t remove.

@Katie B. we put a large piece of black paper there to get an idea, but it was too severe. We also will be mounting a flat screen TV in the space as well. So if not black, which one?

Ceiling, Alabaster in flat finish, trim, Alabaster in semi-gloss finish. Because the cabinets are abutting the ceiling and Alabaster isn’t true white, I would worry that a ceiling “white” would make the cabs look drab.
