Can I paint beadboard same color as wall in a 4 season room?
Comments (4)Constanceann, don' be afraid, it will look amazing. I've seen that look time and time again, and it works beautifully. The color breaks up the whites and the whites make the color pop. You don't have anything to loose if you put up the bead board first in white, if you don't like it, you can paint it. If you do decide to paint it, I'd go with just a darker white, or a VERY light light gray on the ceiling, and still leave the bead board white. Here's a link with some pictures that may help, not exactly what you're thinking of doing but still a good visual. Comments (4)Oooooh, I love your bathroom! I can't wait to see the finished product. I really hope someone answers about putting the beadboard on those little corners. I am planning on doing beadboard in my jack and jill bathroom and I was wondering the same thing. Do they put them next to the tile on those small areas? I also like both of the wallpapers. I might like the one on the left to read something while...., well you know. LOL I also like the one on the right bc I think you could find more accessories to go with the hunting theme. I would definitely go with the white beadboard - I think the black would make it too dark. Does the wall paper have a white background or beige? Good luck and please show us pictures when your finished!...See Morebead board color dilemma!
Comments (6)ptamom, The kitchen has beadboard from floor to ceiling. The adjoining "dining room" has beadboard wainscoting with textured wall above it. If I paint the wainstcoting white to match the cabinets, and the kitchen beadboard something other than white (same color as textured wall?), will that look odd?? I'm avoiding tearing it all out, and in the process having to rip out the crown molding and baseboard, but I so desparately do not want to find 2 coordinating colors for the wainscoting and wall (ie: 2 shades of tan). I've looked at colors until I want to pull my hair out!! My counter is Key West gold which has a lot of "salmon" to it, and I'm avoiding any paint with a pink hue. I cannot figure out how to upload pics! Thank you!...See MoreBead Board wall colors
