ann_t or loves2cook4six or others help with Danish

I'm trying the cheese Danish that has been posted to the forum by, I believe, ann_t, and I have a question. When you combine the eggs and flour with the sour creme yeast mixture, do you beat it as if you are kneading the mixture by machine, or do you just incorporate the flour, or something inbetween as in a cake recipe.. Sorry, I'm not much of a baker yet!
